Sailing on Belfast Lough. - Lovely afternoon on Belfast Lough on board Optimistic. Elwyn who was in charge of the boat was very friendly and fully explained everything. Good food and great views around the lough.

Family fun, making memories. - Amazing, friendly and fun. Very accommodating and interactive for all ages and stages. A lot of fun. A real treat. Did t expect the boat to be as big inside. Meals cooked on board. Three bedrooms/ cabins and two toilets! Wow.

Our top rated experience in Northern Ireland - I booked our trip for a friend's 60th and realised that the date I had chosen might not have suited, an email to Elwyn and the date was changed with absolutely no issues whatsoever. He keep me well informed between booking and the actual event and couldn't have been any more accommodating. We added extra people onto the booking last minute and again no problems at all completely hassle free and accomodating.
I can honestly say that the day we had was the most enjoyable that each of us has had in a long time, Elwyn made sure we where fed, watered, entertained and very well informed about the boat and how to sail it! We all had a go at sailing and he kept us out for much longer than we had expected, which of course he checked was okay with us and it most definitely was. My only issue with this whole day was that it ended.
Elwyn is the nicest most accommodating gentleman that I have had the pleasure of taking a tour with, he will make sure you have a great day! Do NOT hesitate in booking this, you will not be disappointed.
The value for money with this experience is outstanding, so if you want something a bit special and a bit different then this is it!

A great way to spend a day! - Just finished a trip out on this fantastic sailboat around the coast of Belfast!
From start to finish we were so well looked after! Everything was so meticulous well planned, from the meeting point to putting us to work on the sail boat.
I booked the experience for my boyfriend who has always been interested in sailing, so I thought this would be the perfect taster session! It did not disappoint!!
Elwyn is so passionate and knowledgeable, and teamed with beautiful September weather, it was an excellent day out!

Sail to Scotland and back in two days. - We did a two day trip over to Scotland with elwyn. It was a really enjoyable and comfortable journey with very calm sunny weather on the way there. Elwyn went out of his way to ensure we felt totally at home on board as well as giving us time helping out with motoring and sails when it finally got windy. We were so well looked after with food and snacks by elwyn... Totally spoilt us!! Thanks elwyn for all your patience, fun games and kindness... It was a long passage but a wonderful trip. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing, especially sailing in +14 Knots of wind and seeing those whales on the way back. Jane

Get it booked! - Bought as a surprise 40th birthday present for my partner. As a non swimmer i was a bit apprehensive about it. That said, Elwyn soon put my mind at ease with his expertise knowledge and professionalism. You really couldn't ask for a better pilot to be truthfully honest.
The whole trip was perfect,. From start to finish, a very relaxing day. Couldn't fault it in any way! My partner and I had such a good time we have since talked about doing it all over again next summer with friends.

Wonderful way to tour the coast of Northern Ireland! - Elwyn was absolutely wonderful and made our first ever sailing adventure one to remember! From the time we got on the water to the time we left we were in great hands (even with the downpours, gusty winds, and chilly temperatures). He was exceptionally patient with our lack of experience and took care to make sure we were comfortable the entire time. The views were absolutely breathtaking, the company was enjoyable, and being an active part of sailing the boat was extraordinary! The food, endless supply of coffee, and great taste in music was icing on the top. Book the trip, sail the seas, breath in the fresh air, and live a little!

Exceptional experience - We had an extraordinary and wonderful day, sailing with skipper Elwyn on Following Seas' huge modern Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 45 yacht, Optimistic. Because we were interested, Elwyn involved us in the boat manoeuvres, hoisting and trimming sails, steering and navigation. We learned a lot from Elwyn's nautical wisdom, and the experience was much more than we could have expected. We plan to return for a longer trip soon.
