Full Day of Montana Redonda, Yanigua Falls, and Los Haitises National Park - Great Full Day Tour! We started off the day at Montana Redonda where you great photos and can do different zip lining activities or just enjoy the sights. We then headed to Yanigua Falls and had some local fruit, cocoa bread with Nutella, a great buffet lunch, and then we cooled off in a beautiful waterfall. Afterwards we took a boat ride at Los Haitises National Park, saw mangroves, and toured a cave with pictograms made by ancestral Tainos. Great day overall. We highly recommend this tour.

Thankyou for taking on feedback - First of all the gave us a bus with no air con in the sweltering heat …especially as I knew we would be on it for hours …I was not best pleased. I wrote on the group chat to air my frustration and they reached out straight away to rectify the issue - we got a brand new bus with full air con and lovely bag of Dominican gifts as a compensation for the ENTIRE bus load which I thought was amazing. Things do go wrong but the fact that they reached out and rectified it immediately was incredible. Montana redonda was just a view But the boat ride and los Haitisis was amazing the views were spectacular. The yanigua waterfall was beautiful. I felt like we spent just the right amount of time at each of the destinations, the authentic Creole food was beautiful and the scenery was lush, and they also kindly provided snack. My daughter and I really enjoyed it - we felt safe and looked after - Thankyou guys

3 in 1 review - Amazing experience! They reached out a few days before to give us details of what to bring/ what to expect. It is a long day of excursions, but you are able to do a lot. The views from the mountain and in the caves are gorgeous. Would highly recommend to anyone interested in ecotourism and exploration. Additionally, they were very accommodating of dietary restrictions. My friend and I are vegetarians, and they took the time to prepare us separate options.

Great tour, Terrible Guide - The tour itself was very cool and informative, but as stated in the listing you will spend a good portion of time driving from place to place. You get to see some of the Dominican country side and Dominican towns outside of the resort areas. It was definitely touristy but the views and the stops definitely made it worth it. Everyone we came across was extremely nice and accommodating. I think if we had a different tour guide, this would have been a 5 star review. Our guide, Joel, while he seemed knowledgeable (could have been completely lying about stuff for all I know), he was extremely rude and belittling to the people working at the places we stopped. This was done in earshot of guests on the tour. I do not speak Spanish, but I understand a lot of it and my wife is fluent. Even without speaking the language, you can tell by his body language and what he is doing that he is not being nice. For example, the stop at Rancho Salto Yanigua there were people there making coconut biscuits for the tour to try along with a homemade version of Nutella. While demonstrating how the homemade version of Nutella was made, Joel took items out of the hands of the person who was showing it off and moved the person out of the way. The comment I overhead that stuck out the most was when we were getting on the boat in Los Haitses National Park, he said to the people operating the boat "it's always the same trash with you guys" when there was a small delay due to a battery issue. The delay totaled a minute or two. On the way back to the dock he told the people driving the boat we were behind schedule and to go faster. This was done in a very rude and dismissive way even though us being behind schedule had nothing to do with them. With a different tour guide that is kinder to the people that he relies on for his job and we are in a way inconveniencing, I think this is worth 5 stars. With Joel as your tour guide, it's barely worth the 3 I gave it simply due to his attitude towards the people that are accommodating us and helping him do his job.

Too disorganized & too long! - The trip was poorly organized. Prior to the journey, I messaged the tour guide, but received no response. The night before the trip, at 9 PM, we received a message stating that our pickup time had changed from 6 AM to 7 AM and that we should bring bug spray. This late notice forced us to scramble to adjust our breakfast plans since we could now sleep and eat an hour later. Additionally, we had no way to obtain bug spray as we were informed of this at such a late hour. Morning of the Trip On the morning of the trip, the large bus we were on made an unexpected stop at a small local "restaurant." We were instructed to disembark so we could switch to smaller buses. After waiting for about half an hour, we were told the smaller buses were not coming, and we needed to return to the large bus. Furthermore, we learned that our English tour would now be conducted in English, French, and Spanish, making it difficult to focus on what was being said. Next, we stopped at a gas station while water and small snacks were loaded onto the bus, which seemed like something that should have been done prior to our departure. The large bus struggled on the narrow roads, causing several of us to worry that it might tip over at times. It had to maneuver back and forth to make certain turns, which added to our discomfort. I wished the tour guide had provided us with approximate times for how long it would take to reach each destination. I attempted to look this up online while on the bus, but there was no service. Destinations Upon reaching our first destination, we were informed that, due to rain in the morning, the vans that transport visitors to the top of Montaña Redonda were unable to take us up. (Why wouldn't our tour guide know this before we arrived there? Couldn't he have called someone?) We then proceeded to our second location, Yanigua Waterfall (I HIGHLY recommend bringing water shoes for this). This spot was just acceptable. Afterward, we visited Los Haitises National Park, where the boat tour and cave excursion were truly enjoyable. We then returned to Montaña Redonda, where the view was beautiful, but we were rushed to leave because they were closing. At the end of the tour, we were told that we would now be switched to smaller buses based on our hotel locations. The large bus stopped on the side of a busy road—rather than a parking lot—and we had to exit the larger bus and move to the smaller ones. After a long 14 hours, we finally returned to our hotel. Would not recommend this excursion!
