You will get amazed by the spectacle of a cape in the shape of a sandy tongue that gets into the sea. Along literally sandy coastline with shells, turquoise waters competing in beauty with the different sets of a shipwreck. It sank in about 1970 giving its mark on the beach. It adds more excitement to the scenery and offers an incentive for underwater exploring. The natural images, the rhythms of nature and the journey with the sailing boat will magnetize you and build you an unprecedented feeling of freedom. At noon before the hunger conquers us, you will taste a delicious lunch prepared (from scratch) by the Captain with the fragrance of Northern Greece with the accompaniment of local wine while listening to Greek music!

Our journey commences from the Nea Michaniona harbor at 11:00 and concludes at 17:00.
The vessel can be privately chartered for up to 8 people daily.

- All the attached cruises can be modified due to the weather.
- Please be at the meeting point 20 minutes before departure.
- It’s easy to come by bus from the center. First, number 3 is from the center to IKEA station, and after number 72 to NEA Michaniona.

A Day to Remember - The sailboat experience was made special by Matis the owner of a 46' Hunter sailboat. Matis also prepared a wonderful meal with the freshest vegetables and meat...wine and all! Swimming in the clean Aegean Sea. Matis also arranged for a taxi to pick us up from the cruise ship and was waiting to bring us back upon arrival to the dock. We highly recommend!!

Fantastic day out to chill - Amazing day out with knowledgeable host/ captain/ chef Makis and mate Nikos. Most relaxing day ever!
Important to know: the port where it starts is around 40 km outside of Thessaloniki. Makis can organise transport though.

An amazing experience - A truly wonderful day spent on Makis’ sailboat. The program was very extensive, from swimming in a blue lagoon to eating an amazing and homemade meal with fresh products.
Makis creates a pleasant and friendly environment, and his comments on the itinerary are very relevant.
We loved this day, and could not recommend it enough for other travelers. A great way to celebrate together, or even just enjoy a peaceful day.
PS : be careful to bring enough suncream, the sun hits harder than it looks.

Beautiful day on the sailboat - I can only highly recommend this day trip as everything was very well organized. Makis, the captain, was always helpful and answered all our questions. My daughter and I spent the last day of vacation in Greece on his yacht very pleasantly – with plenty of time to relax and swim. The yacht is small but very comfortable for eight people. The lunch prepared by Makis with local wine was simply outstanding. Thanks to the organizers – I can only recommend this trip!

Outstanding - We had an unforgettable half‑day sailing cruise from Nea Michaniona with Captain Makis aboard the Blue Foam. He was welcoming, professional, and also a talented cook, serving a fantastic homemade Greek lunch with wine. We swam and snorkeled near Shipwreck Bay in crystal clear waters, enjoying panoramic views. Boat was immaculate, the group small and intimate, and Makis went out of his way to ensure everyone felt comfortable. If you’re visiting Thessaloniki and want a magical coastal escape, this is a perfect day trip.

This cruise will be the highlight of your trip - This is our second time on Makis’s sailboat. I was thrilled when he put together a custom cruise for us for eight hours. We wanted to see the shipwreck and also view the beautiful sunset on the Aegean Sea. Makis make a delicious meal halfway through the cruise. He was very accommodating since I don’t eat red meat he made Chicken. We had Greek salad and olives fresh from his tree and yummy homemade tzatziki that his wonderful mama made. So special! We brought a few snacks and wine. He took us to a beautiful area close to a beach. The water was as clear as crystal. I could have stayed there relaxing all day. We then went to see the sunset and it was as breathtaking as I remembered. The boat is roomy and comfortable with plenty of room to move around. There is a bathroom on board. What more can you ask for? Sit back and relax and have a glass of wine. Makis is family now, we will always visit him and his beautiful boat each time we are in Greece.

Incredible sunset sail! - We stumbled across this sailing boat last minute and reached out to the owner, Michael, on a whim — asking if he might be taking a sunset sail that evening. To our delight, he welcomed us aboard and gave us a night we will never forget.
I was traveling with my twin 18-year-old daughters, and from the moment we stepped on the boat, Michael made us feel like family. We set sail (yes — sailing, no engine!) into the golden Aegean light, just as the day began to soften. As if on cue, a group of dolphins appeared alongside the boat, dancing through the water — pure magic.
We stopped for a sunset swim in crystal-clear waters, followed by a delicious spread of food and local wine that Michael had thoughtfully prepared. The entire experience felt unhurried, intimate, and deeply personal — not a tour, but a true Greek evening on the sea.
Michael’s passion for sailing, warm hospitality, and instinctive ability to create connection made this more than just an excursion. It was a memory — one we’ll talk about for years to come.
Highly, highly recommend. If you’re lucky enough to find a spot with Michael, take it. You’ll leave with a full heart, salty hair, and the feeling that you’ve experienced something truly special

A well managed small group cruise to shipwrey - Fantastic trip! A relaxed cruise along the coast to the shipwreck with plenty of time to snorkel. Amazing fresh cooked lunch with wine and company. Appreciate the small group vibe which adds the personal touch.
Beautiful boat and captain / owner was very informative and made sure everyone was comfortable and catered for.
We will surely also try the sunset trip.
