Unique experience with wonderful people! - My wife and I left the kids at the rental and spent a lovely afternoon at this lovely and unique mezcal distillery. I thought I knew what mezcal tasted like (strong and smoky), but the quality and variance of their offerings left me amazed! Some of them were, yes, smoky, but the wild agave mezcals, in particular, were like nothing else, brimming with subtle flavors of earth, fruit, and sea. Our hostess, Marianna, was absolutely lovely and knowledgeable, explaining the process and the history of this special place. Even if you think you don't like mezcal, I highly recommend this experience. You won't be disappointed!

This experience is amazing! - The family house where they hold the tasting is lovely and they make you feel very at home! Learning about the process of making mezcal and the specific way that this family produces it was endlessly fascinating and stories behind the making and names of specific mezcals were enchanting. Mariana was an excellent tour guide and very knowledgeable! I would recommend this experience to anyone and everyone especially if you have a love for this beautiful Oaxacan elixir!

Wonderful mezcal experience! - I had a great time on this tour! It was exceptionally well-organised and hugely informative. The setting was beautiful, and the mezcal tasting experience was both fun and impressively generous - our hosts went above and beyond! Mariana and the entire team were fantastic, making it a truly memorable way to spend my first afternoon in Puerto Escondido. Highly recommended!

Book immediately! - This was an amazing experience and highly recommend you book immediately! The tour was full of interesting facts and interactive at the same time. We felt welcomed and truly engaged throughout the entire experience. Not to mention the tasting at the end will leave you feeling magical 😊😍

Great place to visit when in puerto Escondido - Old school farming and unlimited mezcal as part of the tour is a nice touch. Tour was the right amount of time, and it’s always interesting to see how different liquors are made. Would recommend

Incredible hospitality and tasty mescal - Marianna and her colleague Tamara went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect experience at the distillery. We had access to way more mescal than we could possibly consume, and they provided tasty complimentary snacks. The family participated in the tour of the distillery, answering our questions patiently and with lots ofdetail. Marianna sent a taxi to pick us up and drop us off. It is important to note the distillery does not have agave fields on site, which was a little disappointing but the rest of the experience was stellar!

Highly recommend - Great tour. Mariana, the host was very welcoming and engaging with the group. The tour was a great balance of general education of Mezcal, history and then a tour of the production area. Lastly, the tasting event was a lot of fun and the Mezcal is great quality. The family producing the Mezcal were very lovely people and seemed very happy to have us. Highly recommend.
