Wonderful experience - Johanna was a great guide! We went to 5 different restaurants and tasted the most uniquely authentic Mexican dishes. Roma is a creative little piece of the world. Having a great guide helped us understand and try new foods. We would not have had this experience on our own. Highly recommend.

Delicious Food Tour in Trendy Roma with Wonderful Guide - I have traveled to countries in Central, East, and Southeast Asia, North and Southern Africa, Latin America, and Europe. I have always believed that I am able to learn more about a culture via its cuisine – and that, although dining at world-renowned restaurants is exciting, it is the meals at everyday restaurants that locals visit that allow me to have a better glimpse of the local culture. For this reason, I was really excited to go on the Colonia Roma food tour. I enjoyed the food tour with my host, Tania. I loved that she was very enthusiastic about the food scene in the Roma neighborhood as well as the architecture of this now-hipster neighborhood. I enjoyed her vignettes about each of the dishes and restaurants I sampled. Because I did this food tour several months ago, I do not remember all the dishes that I tried. I know that most of the dishes were vegetarian and very delicious. I remember eating at Broka Bistrot, a restaurant situated in a lovely courtyard. In a country of beautiful and unforgettable courtyards, this one stands out in my memory. My favorite place was our last savory stop, Mux. I liked that the chef’s dishes were based on recipes passed onto next generations by non-professional women keeping alive their regional traditions. The food I tasted was, of course, very sumptuous! By the time we headed to our dessert stop, Helado Bonito, I was very full. But, of course, I had to have dulce de leche ice cream together with Tania (the only time she ate something together with me). I highly recommend this food tour. I was able to sample a range of authentic Mexican dishes in the tree-lined trendy Roma neighborhood with my knowledgeable (but not haughty) food guide, Tania

Delicious and Diverse Colonia Roma Food Tour - We had an amazing time on the Colonia Roma food tour. Our guide was fantastic, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic, which really elevated the experience. We got to try a wonderfully diverse selection of foods, including several styles of mole and a stop at a vegetarian restaurant. Everything was delicious and thoughtfully chosen. The pace was great, and the neighborhood setting made it even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore Mexico City’s food scene in a fun and flavorful way.

- We very much enjoyed the food tour with Stefanie as our enthusiastic, joyful and very knowledgeable guide! She introduced us to the Mexican food scene but also shared stories on the history of places along our walk. We wish we had more time in Mexico City to revisit all the places that each had their particular charm in addition to serving excellent and surprising food. We highly recommend the tour!

Fun food tour while getting a feeling for the Roma area - Good food tour overall with fun and positive facilitation. We visited a number of quality restaurants and tried a variety of foods from various regions of Mexico. The food was good but perhaps I desired a bit more meat and spice. It was good but not great for my taste pallet.
