Perfecto! - 10/10 experience! The pick up time was early (6:45 am) but was well worth it because Gio included a stop at Panaderia Rosetta before we hit the road - 2 birds and 1 stone! The van was comfy and air conditioned, and Gio was very knowledgable on this history of the area and it's peoples. It was really nice to be there early to beat the crowds and the heat! DO have some pesos on hand to buy some ice cream before you head back to CDMX :)

Really interesting. - We had a really amazing morning with Gio - he is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and answered loads of questions from everyone. The day was really nicely paced, it was great to go to the bakery in the morning and there was also an hour at the end to wander unguided. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Gio’s tour to the land of the Gods! - Very very good tour, seamless, punctual, great communication and super informative. A perfect balance if you want to start early (which you should, as gets quite hot late morning, and more crowded). Gio is the perfect gentleman and a one man show - does it all from driving you there in his comfortable 12 seater air con van to the actual tour there which is loaded with nuggets of information. Comprehensive learning experience which should not be missed! The breakfast stop en route was also fantastic and sets one up for the day ahead! Highly recommended, thank you Gio!

Teotihuacan- perfect English speaking guide - Giovanni is hands down the best tour guide! The Teotihuacan (pyramid ) is a must see when visiting CDMX area, they are spectacular, and Gio did a great job explaining the rich history of the place and ensuring we all had a wonderful time and answering all questions we had. Our group of 8 was the perfect size - and we all got along great! We had plenty of time to explore on our own including some local shopping. He took us to lunch at a cave restaurant, which made it to an even more enjoyable experience. I absolutely loved this trip and would definitely recommend it!

A Must See - It is roughly 40 minutes each direction to Teotihuacan. This site is under world heritage consideration and merits inclusion. our tour included the major temples (pyramids) and avenue of the dead. Our guide knew his stuff and the site is simply breathtaking. Be prepared for climbing and high altitudes but it is well worth the effort

Mindblowingly proficient tour guide for Teotihuacan - Gio was simply fabulous. Touring Teotihuacan with him was like taking a master class in history, culture and anthropology from a PhD, I was profoundly impressed by his erudition and his rhetorical skills. He really made the place come alive, and was very kind and generous to boot. The stop at Rosetta was delicious as were the little treats at the end. I cannot recommend Gio highly enough.

Great day at Teotihuacan! - Geo guided our group of six on a well organized, informative and productive trip. We started our day at 7:00 am. We enjoyed coffee, pastries and breakfast sandwiches at Panadería Rosetta. We comfortably traveled the 60-75 minutes to our destination in uncle Kevin’s newer passenger van. Geo’s knowledge and understanding of Teotihuacán was evident and appreciated by our group. If you want an enriching and rewarding experience I would highly recommend Geo and his tour.

Excellent tour with an excellent guide - Gio is one of the most knowledgeable tour guides we have ever had. He is Mexican and grew up in Dallas, speaking English with no accent. He is a certified tour guide (rare, requires a year of training and a test) and provides a new van for transportation. Since his groups (and van) are smaller, he also drives the group between the moon temple and the two temples at the other end (about a 1.5 mile hike upgrade), leaving you more time to explore. I liked that he finishes all the explanations and leaves you an hour to explore on your own. This tour did cost a bit more than the large tours (and tour buses), and was well worth the added cost. We were in a group of six, and the van would comfortably seat 12. Pickup is in Condesa and the bakery is in Roma Norte, so convenient where many tourists stay.

Semi-private tour with Gio was excellent - Gio is Mexican and grew up in the Dallas area. His English is excellent and unaccented, very easy to understand. He is a certified tour guide, very knowledgeable. As a smaller tour (maximum size of 10-12, we had six), he also drives you between the southern end of the valley to the northern end, saving a 1+ mile uphill hike. This allows more time to see the sites and understand the history. The smaller van that Gio uses (with his Uncle Kevin) also is more maneuverable in the heavy Mexico City travel.
