Just book it! - I had an unforgettable experience with Mexico Tours! Our day started at the Basilica de Guadalupe, where we explored the beautiful grounds, visited the gift shop, and saw the shroud of Juan Diego—a truly spiritual moment.
From there, we headed to Teotihuacán, which was absolutely breathtaking. One of the highlights was enjoying a delicious rooftop lunch overlooking the Pyramid of the Sun. The preset menu had both vegetarian and meat options, and everything was full of flavor and thoughtfully prepared.
In the same area, we had the opportunity to meet local obsidian artisans and silversmiths, who shared their incredible work and knowledge with us. We even got to try pulque and a unique tequila made from “las lunas”, the flower/fruit of the cactus—such a cool cultural experience!
A huge shoutout to Julio and Maricruz, our bilingual guides, who were not only knowledgeable and kind but also made sure everyone in the group felt welcomed and informed throughout the day.
I highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting a meaningful and well-rounded experience in CDMX!

Beautiful tour! Just as advertised! - Since I stayed in a hostel, had to walk to a nearby meeting point.
(The company will contact you to coordinate your pickup location with you) . Pickup is only for certain hotels. However, the pickup was in timely manner and the driver was very accommodating. I especially loved Teresa, our tour guide who made sure everyone understood her explanations of the historic sites. Teresa was able to bring us all together during this tour like a family and answered all of our questions to the best of her knowledge. It was obvious that this is just not a job for her but a passion that she shared with others. The driver also pointed out many spots of interest during the drive to the pyramids.
They gave us plenty of time to tour and shop for gifts as well, and the restaurant was not only delicious ( although I would only focus on the tacos or burritos next time) but the location was simply beautiful and nicely shaded, with a cool breeze. I will definitely book with them again!

Jaguar sellers at Teotihuacan - First we went to the Three Cultures church. After lesson from history we heading north went shopping to obsidian workshop.
Still with tequila taste we bought sombreros at sellers under pyramids. Just do not shop to much! Silver, obsidian and precious stones all over at the spot.

Great Guide and Driver – But Van Was Very Uncomfortable -
Great Guide and Driver – But Van Was Very Uncomfortable.
Charlie, our tour guide, and Ellie, the driver, were FANTASTIC and incredibly friendly. Charlie was full of insightful information and seemed to know everything about each site we visited. His enthusiasm and knowledge really made the experience enjoyable.
However, I do have a couple of suggestions to improve the overall tour experience:
1. Comfort of the Tour Van: The vehicle was extremely cramped and uncomfortable. It felt like we were packed in like sardines, which made the travel between locations unpleasant. A more spacious and comfortable tour bus would make a big difference, especially for longer tours.
2. Complimentary Water: It would be greatly appreciated to have bottled water available, especially when touring areas that involve a lot of walking under the sun. After visiting the pyramids in the blazing heat, many of us were dehydrated until we reached the restaurant and could finally get something to drink.
Aside from those issues, we had a great day and truly appreciated Charlie and Ellie’s efforts. Their professionalism and friendliness really stood out!

Seeing pyramids is simply... - Seeing pyramids is simply amazing, you can’t go wrong with this experience. This tour had some tourist traps included, but obsidian manufacture that was part of it was fascinating, so I did not mind. I would have wished for a slightly more engaging tour guide, but this is only a minor gripe.

The tour was average. The... - The tour was average. The sites were wonderful, but our guide, Manuel, was not very interesting. Seemed like he had memorized the history and was just rattling it off. His English was a little hard to understand, and the Spanish language explanations were much longer than the English ones. He also did not take us to the pyramid of the serpents at Teotihuacan. At the Basilica, we had to ask for some free time to visit the old chapel as he was leaving without taking us there. That should definitely be included in the tour. The time spent at the shops was excessive, it would have been better to spend that time at the Basilica. Also, it would have been better to go to Teotihuacan first to avoid the afternoon sun/heat, and do the Plaza of Three Cultures later.
