Eat, Drink, Be Merry, and Learn (About Some of the Culinary History of Mexico)! - This was my second time visiting Mexico City and my second tour (I did the bike tour last year) with the fantastic husband and wife team of Yibran and Daniela. Yibran guided us through an outstanding lineup: birria with consommé, fish taco with jalapeño and shrimp (my favorite), a rich cochinita torta, sope with chicken, and more. The highlight came at Yibran and Daniela’s apartment, where we sampled some unique and delicious fruits (mamey, chicozapote, and chirimoya), ate tamal verde con pollo, drink homeade chocolate caliente con leche (both prapred by Daniela, of course), and sampled ancestral mezcals (Maguey Verde, Tobalá, and Espadín) paired with some chocolates. Just me and a kind older couple from Texas made the experience personal, relaxed, and more authentic. Eat, drink, and be merry!

Unforgettable Food Tour with the BEST home cooked meal - This was by far one of the BEST food tours I've ever taken, and I've been to quite a few! Yibran knows the area very well and is extremely knowledgeable about the local food culture, scene, cuisine, and the best local places! At every stop that we made, he would explain in great detail about the food we were about to have, where it comes from, how it's made, and a plethora of other details. Very informative, educational, but most importantly, delicious! The absolute BEST part about the tour was the home-cooked meal that was carefully made with top quality, local ingredients, and cooked with love and care. You can literally taste the difference! If you're in Mexico City, this tour is a-must!

The most special & authentic food tour in Mexico City - I had the most amazing food tour with Yibran and his wife Daniela. Honestly it was probably the best food tour I did all year and I do quite a few and have thus become very picky ;) Yibran was super communicative and checked in with me over WhatsApp as soon as I booked, something I appreciated as it was my first time in Mexico City. A day before he told me other people had to cancel and asked if I still wanted to go ahead on the day, again, something I appreciated a lot. On the day, I was truly in for such a feast and he fed me until I basically begged him to stop lol. All stops were truly local and unique, no Michelin-starred tacos insight but proper authentic eateries. A highlight was definitely the meal and the cacao at their home - it felt very special to be invited into their home and get a true insight of how Mexicans live. Both of them are wonderful warm hosts. If you do any food tour in Mexico City - let this be it, you won't regret it!

Highlight of our trip! - My friends and I had an amazing time on this tour! It's obvious how much thought Yibran puts into every stop to ensure everyone has fun. I got to try some new specialties and fell in love with one stop so much that we went back the next day. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting!

Amazing Food Tour in CDMX - We had such a wonderful time on this food tour. The portions were big, and Yibram and Daniela were able to accommodate the one pescatarian in our group. We enjoyed learning about the food and the places we stopped at. The highlight of the tour was the Tamales and Hot Chocolate stop at their house!

Come hungry! - Sooo much food and sooo worth it. It was helpful to not only try different local foods, but learn about the ingredients and process as well. Had 6 stops that were all very different and exactly what we were hoping for. Highly recommend!

One of a kind food experience! in CDMX - Where else in the world would a food tour guide with 60+ years of family history in the neighborhood take you to so many amazing hidden gems of both street food and restaurants that you would walk right past on your own in Mexico City and then take you to their own home for a unique fruit tasting, home cooked specialties and libations? Nowhere! "Mi casa es su casa" takes on a new meaning. Do yourself a favor and check availability/reserve as this tour is limited and does fill up due to it's limited and intimate nature. A must!

Feeling full and at home with Yibran and Daniella - This food tour with Yibran was the best food tour we've ever done - not only because of the quantity of the food (so much food!) but the quality and variety of the items and the great conversation with Yibran along the way. Not only did he take us to his/his family's favorite spots in the neighborhoods where he grew up, but he took us into his home for some home-cooked tamales and the best hot chocolate ever made by his lovely and gracious wife Daniella! I would recommend this food tour to everyone who wants to try a lot of different types of dishes representing many regions of Mexico while having a fun, easy walk around the Condesa/Roma neighborhoods. Yibran even sent us lots of other suggestions for our remaining days in CDMX. Take this tour and take his advice and DON'T EAT BEFORE YOU GO! There is so much yummy food.

Fantastic food tour - Amazing food tour. Yibran is very knowledgeable of the food scene. He took us to 6 awesome food spots to have a taste of the Mexican culture through food. Every stop that we went wasn’t different experience and I loved the story and history behind each food. I also loved that he and his wife opened their home to us and cook for us as well. If you truly want to experience authentic Mexican food culture then this tour is a no brainier. 100/100. And will do it again ten times over.

What a FEAST!! - What a perfect way to explore parts of CDMX - eating your way through a neighbourhood or two! Yibran has really found some exciting stops and the tour is made extra special by being invited into his home too. He isn't kidding when he says come hungry - the tour is generous and delicious with something unique in every stop. Book now, you won't be disappointed!!
