The best bike tour I have ever been on - I absolutely cannot recommend this tour enough. The day started off with our arrival to the starting point and we were met with warm handshakes from both tour guides of the day as well as the owner of the company. We immediately felt welcomed. It is clear that everyone who works for the company is passionate and loves what they do, especially our tour guide, Raúl. He is so funny can truly get along with anyone! Not only is Raúl a fabulous person, he is also an amazing tour guide. He taught us so much about the culture and history of Mexico City and even some new phrases such as “provecho” and “aguas”! He also took very good care of us physically, making sure we were safe on our bikes, taking lots of rest stops and drinking enough liquids. Of course, the main focus of this tour is food, and it did not disappoint! The first stop was at the sweetest cafe where we had the best concha’s (a typical breakfast pastry) that I have ever had in my entire life - and I have had a lot of them!! But seriously, the food at each stop is better than the last. I also love loved the street tacos we had as well as the quesadillas made with blue corn tortillas. (Fun fact - they women that make these quesadillas right in front of you are a mother-daughter duo that have been doing so for almost 50 years- isn’t that amazing?) Another amazing part of the tour is that they support locally owned businesses. My advice to anyone who wants to take this tour: 1) first of all- do it!!! 2) come hungry - you will be eating soooo much! 3) be open to getting to know your group-mates and tour guide - I promise that will make the experience so much better. Also, if you feel comfortable with your group mates, you can ask to split food with them to get to try even more flavors of things! 4) Prepare to set aside many hours for this tour. Our tour started at 9am and we got done around 3pm. However, the final stop is at the same place the bike tour begins so if you are in a rush you don’t have to stay for it. However, it was really nice to debrief with our group and Raul for half an hour before saying our final farewells. 5) Seriously, do it!

Incredible tour! - Incredible! It felt like we were biking around the city with friends and stopping for food along the way. It was fun, educational, and relaxing. The food was top notch - a great way to explore more local food/spots. And the tour of the city was insightful and approachable. Several people stopped our guides a long the way for business cards (I don’t blame them). This was our first activity in CDMX and 10/10 recommend!

Thank You Fernando - This experience was the highlight of my visit to cdmx. Our guide, Fernando, was very personable, knowledgeable, and passionate about Mexico City and it's unique culture. The bike ride wasnt strenuous and the frequent stops to eat and drink made for a delightful experience. Our group was only 6 including Fernando, which was perfect. 10/10!

The perfect mix of food, exercise and history. - We spent a week in Mexico City and this was the highlight. Mario was a superb guide, showing us around the neighborhood safely with great knowledge of the food and history. It is the perfect mix of exercise, history and delicious food. This tour highlighted a trendy, welcoming and vibrant part of Mexico city. We started the day with coffee and traditional concha and ended the day with the most delicious michelada. We had such a fun day, I would 100% book a tour with Mario and FoodHood again. Thank you for an amazing experience and showing us a side to Mexico I didn't know existed.

Have fun ride and enjoy - Rode just under 10 by Strava miles. I figure about two miles a different taco or food experience. Fun tour guides kept us happy and safe. Do it.

Great ride and even better tacos - Amazing Tour. Fernando was a really chill guide and he had great insights into mexican culture and cuisine. Also the concept of the tour is just perfect. Just the right amount of cycling, walking around markets and eating. I recommend doing it on Sunday because than one of the main roads will be closed for cycling. Should be as much every other day as well though. Enjoy :) !

Totally recommend it, especially if you enjoy cruising about on bikes - A relaxed but fun and entertaining tour, with plenty to eat and see around some of the nicer suburbs / districts of the city. The cycling was easy, and it was never far between stops. Raul the guide was great, very passionate and shared info about life in the city and its history. The food and beverage stops were all excellent.

Great tour! - Raul was our guide and he was great! He really cares about Mexico City and shows that through the tour. We saw several great places we wouldn’t have on our own. The food was the highlight with the best tamales we’ve ever had.

Great Tour - The tour combined authentic street food experiences while travelling on bikes, which help to cover grounds quickly and let us feel locals. Raul was knowledgeable and very helpful. Highly recommended
