Hiking
The hike will take between 2:30 to 3 hours (depending on your pace), with the aim to reach the summit before 6:00 am to enjoy the sunrise. Once at the top of Eagle Peak, there will be time to rest and take photos to capture this incredible memory. The descent will take another 2-3 hours, approximately.

Sunrise on the Eagle Peak: A unique experience - Trekking to Eagle Peak to see the sunrise was one of the best decisions we have made as friends. We left super early (type 3:30 am), half asleep but excited. The walk is not very long, but it does challenge for height, so going easy and good attitude is key.
Going up at night, with only the lamps and the sound of the forest, was magical. When we got to the top and the first rays of the sun started coming out... wow. Watching the city light up from above, with the mountains around it, was something I won’t forget.
Alexis and bandit were our guides and helped us keep up. Also, we were with good friends, which made everything more fun (and less heavy).
Wear warm clothes, snacks and eager to enjoy nature. If you like to walk and see spectacular scenery, this plan is a 10/10. Fully recommended.

Magical sunrise on the Eagle Peak - This was one of those experiences that you have left on tape. With some friends we did the early morning hike to see the sunrise from the Pico del Águila, in the CDMX, and it was just spectacular.
We started the hike very early, with flashlights and warmth (because it is quite cold at that time). The trail is quiet, surrounded by forest, and the fresh air wakes you up to the touch. Getting to the top just before the sun rises was the best thing: the sky is tinged with colors little by little, and when the sun finally appears, the view is breathtaking. You see the whole city in the distance, the mountains around, and the silence of the place makes it even more special.
Our guide Alexis was very cool, set the pace, explained about the area and always kept an eye on everyone. It’s not a very difficult hike, but it is key to bring warm clothes, good shoes and water.
If you’re at CDMX and want to do something different, connected to nature and load up on good energy, this dawn at Aguila Peak is 100% recommended.

Super plan at CDMX - I went with friends to explore the caves of a dormant volcano in Mexico City... and it was a mind-blowing experience!
Our guides, Alexis and bandit were the most. Alexis explained everything super well, made us feel safe and you could tell she knew a lot about the place. Besides, it was really cool with everyone.
In total we walk about 5 km, but it flies by. It’s a perfect activity if you like to get out of the routine, breathe fresh air and do something different with friends.
Without a doubt, one of the best experiences I experienced on this trip to Mexico.

I highly recommend it and besides it is seen that it has been years in this. - First of all it indicated what we needed to take to have a fabulous experience.
The super attentive guide, knowing perfectly how to get to the place and apart was beautiful, put us into caves and that was super father.
Besides all the time super attentive, taking care of the crew we were with him.
I highly recommend it 10 out of 10.

"What a beautiful Sunday! I enjoyed a relaxing and revitalizing walk. The weather was perfect, with a bright sun and a gentle breeze. Nature surrounded me with its sounds and colors, which allowed me to disconnect and recharge. The walk was an ideal time to reflect and enjoy the surroundings. A rejuvenating experience!"

Pico del Águila guided - We choose a hard level hike and that's exactly what we got! Great challenge, amazing views and full nature experience . Alexis guides us to go up one trail and come back on a different path so really awesome and complete experience overall with a good variety of micro climates. Highly recommend!
