Great way to learn about the early history of CDMX - Cannot imagine seeing this museum without this tour. Lili was a very informative guide who gave us enough background to understand the foundations of the history of CDMX. She was very good with her history and facts. Did an amazing job of hitting the highlights in the museum for the early days of the city during our time with her. Learned a lot in our 2+ hours which also served as a great basis for a couple of the other CDMX tours we did during our stay.

Anthropology brought to life. - Lili was an amazing guide. She was so knowledgeable and made the experience at the museum very meaningful. Places like this can seem overwhelming but she focused on a few key pieces of Mexican history and really brought some of these cultures to life.

It is absolutely NOT TO... - It is absolutely NOT TO BE MISSED!!! One of the very best tours we have ever taken -- rich with history and culture. And our Guide, Lili, was fabulous -- knowledgeable, patient and passionate about all that we (and she with us) experienced. Perhaps trite, but true, this would get an 11 or highter on a scale of 1 to 10! Wish I could upload some photos, but I'm unable at this moment to see them in my library.

Antonio was so full of information and warmth! - The museum is wonderful; without our guide, we might have been observers. Our guide brought us into the history with a clear progression and understanding of what we saw…an exciting and pleasurable experience. Antonio made it come to life!

A guide is essential for the Anthropology Museum - The Anthropology Museum is amazing and I can not imagine going without a knowledgeable guide. Our personal private guide, Ligia, from Amiga Tours was very helpful throughout our 3 hour tour. The only hitch was she was 40 minutes late due to traffic in the City. But Amiga Tours kept us informed via WhatsApp, so we did not stress out. We can recommend getting a guide for this museum through Vistor.

Hard to understand guide, large group - We were really looking forward to this tour as it was advertised as an English tour with an archeologist. We arrived on time yet it was another half hour before the guide handed out headphones, signed up more tourists to take the tour etc. While the guide seemed knowledgable he was very hard to understand. We spent another 1 1/2 after the tour going back and looking at things to try to get a sense of the time frame of each of the exhibit halls and to learn more. I would not recommend this tour.

the worst - We went with our Viator skip the line tickets. At the entrance, we were told these tickets didn't work and we had to get in line and buy new tickets. Scammed to say the least. Our hotel concierge stated numerous guests had the same complaint and also with the offered balloon tour. Book through your concierge or Amigo tours for reliablility.
