We will explore a small volcanic cave and visit an extra viewpoint in addition to the ‘Puerta del Cielo’ viewpoint. In addition, we will be able to climb a 30m high ladder with safety equipment and we will also be able to see the remains of a hydroelectric plant that operated around the 1900s.

We will begin the ascent next to the ‘La Magdalena’ river, known for being the only living river in the city. The objective is to reach the ‘Puerta del cielo’ viewpoint located at 3550m high (11600ft)….

We will begin the ascent next to the ‘La Magdalena’ river, known for being the only living river in the city. The objective is to reach the ‘Puerta del cielo’ viewpoint located at 3550m high (11600ft).
Along the way, you’ll see a small waterfall, huge rocks, and diverse, lush vegetation. We will visit another viewpoint, we will explore a cave, and we will also climb a 30-meter-high via ferrata (with safety equipment) that will get your adrenaline pumping 100%.
Once we arrive at the ‘Heaven’s Gate’ you will have time to rest, take photos and eat to recharge your energy.
Finally, we will return to the starting point, where transportation will take us back to the city.
