Definitely a must - Excellent experience. Ara our guide was amazing. Even though the tour leaves early, it was worth it because the drive is 3 hours and you can sleep on the way there. Definitely a must when visiting Mexico City.

Fun Day! - It was a long, bumpy drive there and back but we had a great time with Aline as our guide. We spent about an hour at the hot springs pools and then we were bussed to a restaurant on site for brunch (at our own cost, cash only). Portions were gigantic and cheap and kept us full for the short trek up to the waterfall, cave and tunnel. Because there was a storm a few days before our tour, the current was especially stronger than usual but deemed safe enough for the park to open the cave and tunnel to guests that day. The best advice for everyone is to DEFINITELY wear water shoes. Flip flops or sandals won't cut it. It was quite the workout getting into the cave and tunnel because of the rush of the current.
After, we walked back down along the river to our transport van who was waiting by the changing rooms and then it was time to leave. All in all, we arrived at the park at 8:30am, and left around 12:30p-1p, got back to our hotel around 6p (depends on traffic and drop offs).
Aline went around to everyone in our group and helped take some really nice photos at each area. I appreciated that as someone who was traveling with my partner and prefers real photos over selfies. Her vibe was casual, inviting, yet not imposing and we loved that. The short time at Tolantongo was perfect for us to allow for other activities we had planned for later that evening. Would highly recommend if you are short on time and don't want to stay for an entire day.

The thing to do in CDMX - We had a spectacular day with the expert help from Ricardo and Juan. Tolantongo hot spring provides majestic view. The cave walk is out of the world. Never had so much fun and excitement. We'd give it a 10 star if it were available. A must see when visiting CDMX.

10/10 Tour - Tani is a Excellent Tour Guide - Highly recommend this tour for those who want to check this adventurous Tolantongo tour. Tani was an excellent tour guide.
Tour picked us up early at 4 AM. Tani communicated with us on the exact pickup time and messaged us when she was 5 minutes away and was there. I appreciate the communication, especially for such an early tour.
Throughout the tour, Tani makes sure that we were good and having fun. She was prepared to help us out whenever we needed.
Make sure to bring water shoes, water proof phone case and cash for breakfast.
In addition to Tolantongo hot springs, we did two caves and swam in the river. What a memorable adventure!

Adventure of a Lifetime - We had an amazing experience on our group tour to Tolantongo Hot Springs, and a big part of that was thanks to our guide, Tany. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the area, its history, and the best ways to enjoy the hot springs. What really stood out was how proactive and thoughtful she was—she helped us capture great photos, even climbing into the caves with us to make sure we got the perfect shots, which made the day even more memorable. The drive itself was pleasant, and although the road has a lot of speed bumps, our driver took care to slow down at each one, so the ride was smooth and comfortable. Once at Tolantongo, we had plenty of time to explore the caves, swim in the pools, and enjoy the unique scenery. Overall, the entire day felt well organized and stress-free. Tany went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a good time, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Mexico!
