Diego Rivera’s Murals - Experiencing the Historic Center of CDMX through Diego Rivera’s murals is a must. There’s so much cultural, social, and political commentary in his work. Laila is the best!

Rivera art tour. - The tour is very good. We love Rivera's work and are now much more informed. David was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about impacting his knowledge.

Don’t miss this tour! - Laila was our guide and she was so knowledgeable and friendly. Her understanding of all Diego Rivera’s murals was very helpful, and my wife and I both learned much about this artist and the meaning behind his work. This particular tour was a highlights of our trip to Mexico.
We both highly recommend this tour.

Private tour of Deigo’s murals. - My guide was Jorge and he was excellent. We met at the Museo Vivo del Muralismo . Jorge showed me the history of Mexico, the details and symbolism in Diego’s murals. He explained the necessity of the 1910 Mexican Revolution and the stages of birthing Mexico as it is today contained in the murals. He told me how the color of the paint pigment came from the earth and plants native to Mexico. The story told by these murals are important, beautiful and passionate. Next we went to the Museo de Belle Arts to see “The Man on The Crossroads”, and explore the story and symbolism contained in this mural. Jorge introduced the works of other muralists here as well. Our final stop was to see “ Dream of a Sunday Afternoon in Alameda Park”. Again Jorge explained the what this mural was about beautifully.
This is the first private tour I have taken and I am very satisfied. Jorge was knowledgeable, and very easy be be with. I felt relaxed and engaged for the whole tour. Thank you Jorge.

À fantastic introduction to Diego Rivera and Mexican Muralismo - We went on this tour with Francisco who was a brilliant guide to this fascinating aspect of Mexico City. He introduced us to the murals at the Museo Vivo del Muralismo, the Colegio San Idelfonso and the Museo Diego Rivera. He was extremely knowledgeable and clearly passionate about his subject, and he speaks excellent English. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and recommend it 100%.

A calm insightful walk with powerful murals - I booked this tour through TripAdvisor, unsure of what my spouse and I were going to experience. Our guide, Jorge, was wonderful—truly the perfect guide. He provided insightful information about the murals while delivering a world-class history lesson on Mexican heritage, art, and the politics of the era. I highly recommend Jorge to anyone interested in learning more about Mexican heritage and its powerful art scene!

Simply the best! - A wonderful tour. It may seem expensive, but Leila was happy to spend as much time as with us as we wished. We spent several hours absorbed in the incredible murals at different locations, but especially at the mural museum which is the old Education building. We have been before but Leila bought every mural (and there are many!) to life with explanations of the political and cultural ideas being communicated by Rivera. In our opinion this is the number one thing to do in Mexico City. Leila was an absolute pleasure to spend time with and we have already recommended her to other friends who are coming to Mexico City

The magical murals of Mexico City - The tour gave a comprehensive overview of mural artists in Mexico, especially Diego Rivera’s work. Our guide, David, shared a wealth of information and was so eager and patient in answering our questions. He went out of his way to make the tour interesting and timely. His insights and knowledge of art provided an excellent context for these masterpieces. All of us came away with a much better understanding of muralists in Mexico and how significant their work still is today. Do not miss this experience. And by all means, request David as your guide!

Diego Rivera Murals- A Five-Star Tour That Feels Personal and Special - Fantastic tour! Francisco our guide was absolutely outstanding! He was flexible, warm, and incredibly knowledgeable. It truly felt like having a family member showing us around the city— someone who cared deeply about the museums and our experience. This tour also takes you to a surprise location that you will not want to miss. It surpassed my expectations. Highly recommend!
