Great trip! - This was an awesome experience with a lot of walking and history. It felt a little rushed at times because we wanted to purchase items and souvenirs at the markets, but we didn't have time to look around because transport was waiting. Other than that, the trip was fun.

Book it! - We had an amazing time. Sergio was our guide and was amazing. He was friendly, informative and over all was a great time. The tour is definitely worth your time. Xochimilco was a great time with live entertainment and fun times getting to know people from all over the world.

Great Trip! - We booked this tour for our last day in CDMX for the Frida Kahlo entry. We were hesitant when seeing how much time we’d need but it didn’t end up feeling like a long day at all! Our guides Leno, Sergio and Leonardo were fantastic; providing lots of history and context to what we were seeing. Everything was very organized and went according to the planned itinerary. We didn’t mind being part of the larger group as it gave us the opportunity to meet other travellers; but would have appreciated a choice on where we ate lunch. Since we were travelling the next day we felt we needed to be extra cautious in our food choices - and the restaurant was able to accommodate us. I’d recommend carrying cash for the Xochimilco portion of the trip in particular - if you want to purchase beverages but also for washroom access before the long drive back to the city center!

This was a great... - This was a great experience to see other parts outside of the neighborhood where we were staying. Our guide Yair was very knowledgeable and personable. Our driver Simon did an amazing job navigating our bus through traffic and narrow streets. The highlight of the trip was Coyoacán because it was a more authentic Mexican experience. I appreciate the history of a place so I appreciated the stop at the University.

The tour was average. - The whole trip was long (10 hours) we only spent 1 1/2 hours in Frida Kahlo Museum and One hour in Xochimilco, the tour guides took the group to eat at a restaurant of their choice (Food was bad) and also stopped at the UNAP University, this was not in the itinerary. Would not take this tour again.

One guide, big tour, no bueno - This is a hectic tour that definitely needs two tour guides for the huge group. Our guide was kind, but he was literally hopping boat to boat, ensuring that half the time there was no one to answer questions/translate. In Coyoacan, after checking in with him, I turned around to help take someone's photo. When I turned back, the tour group was gone. He had left without me for Casa Azul. I ran around looking but couldn't find them in the crowd. I didn't have the guides number, only the company, who responded to my message unhelpfully an hour later. I pulled up directions on my phone and ran to Casa Azul. They went a different route and I missed all the info/instructions on the way. When I met up with the group, I told the guide he had left me behind. He was too busy to apologize and shuffled me into a tour line. Turns out it was the wrong tour line and he had to pluck me out again later because I had an earlier time and waited for 10 minutes unnecessarily. He had to run off again for the other group, and never told me where to start the museum tour or where to meet after. It was a mess. He never apologized, just kept saying "no, no, no" when I explained the problem, as if it didn't happen. I was livid at the time, but now I see that he was seriously overwhelmed and this tour was just too big and chaotic for one person to handle.

Carlo, the tour guide was... - Carlo, the tour guide was wonderful, and extremely knowledgeable, helpful and kind. So 10/10 for him. That being said, when I booked the activity it was advertised as a tour of xochimilco, coyocan and the Frida Kahlo museum. There wasn’t much else listed in terms of info aside from the start time. Since there were only the 3 activities listed we assumed it would only last into the early to mid afternoon. We were on the tour for a full 10 hours. There were several activities we did that weren’t advertised or listed and the restaurant they took us to for lunch grossly overcharged us. It was $90 usd for two small menu items and 4 drinks. We also weren’t given the option to go grab lunch elsewhere, so that feels a bit wrong. Once again, loved the tour guide but I thinking being upfront about exactly what the tour entails is important.

Dull, expensive, waste of time! - A serious disappointment. First stop, which is not listed in the tour description, is a silver shop which we had to wait for half an hour outside for another group to finish. They take you here for the easy commission. About Xochimilco itself, it's fine. The boats are pretty but it's so overcrowded with other tourist boats and people selling to the tourists that you are basically stuck in river traffic the entire time. Slamming into boats front and back. There's also nothing to see, they say it's a heaven of flowers, but the gardens are all covered so all you see is a bunch of white plastic on both shores. The rest of the tour is boring and forgettable, maybe because our guide was so incredibly dull! No emotion or story telling skills for the whole time we were there... The university is a stop for more scripted explanation under the baking sun and again seems to be just to kill time. I won't forget the lunch place though. Worst meal of our trip and double the cost of a decent taco anywhere else! Finally the Frida Kahlo museum tickets they got for the group were super late and the place was almost closing when we were going around. We didn't finish till 6pm. They tried to say it's because it's high season, well what am I paying for then? If you really want to see Xochimilco, take a taxi and get a boat directly from the sailors. Then a taxi to the neighbourhood around Frida Kahlo, which is lovely. AVOID THIS TOUR IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME

Poorly Organized trip with Yair and Fernanda - I have never written a bad review for a tour guide booked here, but this trip was frustrating. It was poorly organized with very bad communication. The issue was the tour guide, especially Yair. The scheduling didn’t match what was listed in the app, which I had confirmed at the start of the day.. He was quick to dismiss my concerns regarding our group. There is too much to write here. Suffice it to say, I would not choose either of them to lead a tour I book through this app.
