Fantastic tour with incredible sights and a knowledgeable guide — just be ready for some walking! - We booked this tour to celebrate my mom’s birthday — she had visited Puebla over 40 years ago and always dreamed of going back! I booked the trip through Expedia, and it turned out to be a phenomenal experience from start to finish. Everything was so well organized — from check-in to the end of the tour. Our guide, Rodrigo, was outstanding! His knowledge of every place we visited blew me away. He’s like a walking encyclopedia — fluent in both English and Spanish, and full of fascinating historical details. The sites we visited were absolutely stunning, and it was such a meaningful trip for our family. A few small notes: I wish the tour description had mentioned that there’s quite a bit of walking and hiking involved. I have a medical condition and didn’t realize one of the stops would require hiking up a pyramid to reach a church, so I had to skip that part. Also, lunch could be better organized — service was slow, and since the tour runs on a tight schedule, it felt a bit rushed once the food finally came. Other than that, I highly recommend this tour! You’ll see incredible sights, learn a lot, and experience the beauty and culture of Puebla in the best way possible.

Puebla and Cholula tour - Rodrigo and the tour was very very worth it. He was knowledgeable and professional about the tour and was would definitely recommend and do another tour with him. The fact he explained everything in English and Spanish was a big bonus especially since my friend only spoke Spanish. He has the patience and knowledge and give him a 20/10. Good job Rodrigo.

Great experience full of history and photo opportunities - Beautiful experience with a knowledgeable tour guide-Rodrigo! Tons of walking, make sure to go comfy over style. The first stop is a pyramid base with a church at the top, take note that this walk up to the church is steep cobblestone and stairs. Everything else after this stop is leveled. Tour full of history and photo ops. Only thing I recommend to the company is to allow more time to take pics. Other than that, great experience!

Charming towns great for history, photo ops and families - Rodrigo was our tour guide and was amazing and knowledgeable about every area we visited. The experience is exactly as described. We visited the pyramid base which has the church sitting on top of it. We visited another church in Cholula and then went on to visit Puebla and learn about its history. It was beautiful scenery and well worth it for a family of 5 which included 4 adults and one 17 year old who remained entertained as well. Something to note: it’s a lot of walking so go comfy over style, ride was about 2.5 hours out from Mexico City, and the first church you visit on top of the pyramid base is up a rather steep hill made of cobble stone and stairs. I highly recommend wearing comfortable shoes. Tour was taken place via charter bus with a bathroom that was for emergencies only. Only thing I would change is giving the guests more time to take photos as our group was large and with everyone trying to take pics and trying to keep the tour on schedule, the time given to take pics was tight. Other than that, absolutely beautiful towns to visit!

Nice day trip to Cholula and Puebla - I enjoyed this day tour to Cholula and Puebla. The first Cholula church was beautiful and had an amazing view, and the historical centre of Puebla was beautiful too. My criticisms are that the second stop wasn’t particularly interesting (another church, in Cholula), the restaurant in Puebla wasn’t very good and even though we were asked to select our lunch in the morning the restaurant didn’t know who ordered what when we got there. I think the tour would be improved by removing the second stop so the first and third stop are less rushed. I would rather have had more time to eat or look at stores in Cholula and Puebla than to go to the second stop. My advice for anyone who does this tour is to skip the lunch option and eat where you want in Puebla. I found a street vendor selling basket tacos which were much better than the restaurant we were brought to. It was a long day and there could be some improvements, but I enjoyed it and recommend it to others.

Disapointing superficial tour - I would was disapointed. The tour pace is too fast to enjoy tbe sights and quite superficial. In Chulula, for example there is a short explanation at the city park next to the archiological site and then we got free time to eithet visit yhe church on top of the pyramide or see the historic town. A visit to the archeological park is not included. In Puebla the guide took us on a fast walk around 5 city blocks, giving the explanations while walking without any stop! At any of the sights! The group got free 2 hours to go back and see the city sights on their own, as well as Time for lunch only at 3:30pm. The famous Biblioteca Palafoxiana, one of the most important sights of the city wasnt even mentioned. There is no way one can enjoy the Puebla and eat lunch in 2 hours. Lucky for me, I didnt return with the tour but opt to stay onr more day in Puebla. It was a very good decision.
