Via San Biagio Dei Librai - San Biagio dei librai is part of the lower decumanus, it is commonly called Spaccanapoli, it is a thoroughfare in the ancient center of Naples and is one of the most important streets in the city.
Together with the major decumanus and the upper decumanus (decumani of Naples), it is one of the three main streets of the urban plan designed in the Greek era. They crossed ancient Neapolis in their entire length. Given its origin, it would therefore be more appropriate to speak of plateia and not of “decumano”, a Roman-era denomination which by convention replaced the original.
This street is very famous for the workshops of artisans who produce shepherds and nativity scenes. Famous all over the world - Spaccanapoli - This road divides the historic center of Naples in two. Starting from the Spanish Quarters, it reaches the Garibaldi station. Walking we will be able to see all the most important churches in the city of Naples.
