An organized and informative tour! - Wonderful trip with good organization and excellent information. We especially appreciated Isabella helping us to get a ride over to Sorrento instead of taking us back to Naples! And letting us bring our luggage with us! It was great!

Excellent tour, with Terrific guides! - Roberta was our guide for the day and she was a great source of knowledge, speaking clearly and with humour for the entire day. Stefano was our guide around Pompeii and he was exceptional! Really enjoyed the tour and we got there early so the streets of Pompeii were empty of other tourists then. The climb up Mount Vesuvius is strenuous but doable. Bring water and wear a decent pair of trainers and you will be ok. We saw some people do it in flip-flops!! There is a shop at the top if you need to buy more water etc, and they sell some touristy tat. The bus driver whose name escapes me was superb as it is a twisty narrow at times road up to where you must disembark the bus. All in all it was a memorable day and I am grateful to all the guides for making the day so good.

Fun day in Pompeii and Vesuvius! - Roberta, Jack and Max did an amazing job! We got to see Pompaii highlights in 2.5 hours, have a lunch and climb to the top of Mount Vesuvius. We were on time and really enjoyed the tour!

Really enjoyable day - Had a great day. Views from the top of Vesuvius were beautiful. Max the tour guide at pompei was very knowledgeable and also very funny. A really enjoyable day.

Great day trip - A great day out. Well organised and friendly staff. The meeting instructions were clear and the team were there early to greet everyone before we went to the coach. Spent 2 hours at Pompeii where the tour shows you the highlight and the key points before a lunch break. The lunch is not included but the restaurant has a set menu for €17 per person. The afternoon was a short drive up to the entrance to Vesuvius national park where tickets were provided and got to spend an hour to climb the final part to the peak where you get great views of the coast. Then a coach ride back to the start completes the day. Overall a great experience and well worth it as everything is well planned and organised. Would recommend.

It was easy - The trip was well organized. We saw everything we wanted and the tour guide was very helpful and friendly.

Great guides; educational; could be hot and strenuous - Excellent tour guides, making for a great experience. We were lucky to have a nice breeze and some clouds for most of the trip, but it could very easily be very hot in the summer. We had plenty of time in Pompeii, a long lunch break to eat at a nearby restaurant, and plenty of time to hike up Vesuvius and take in the view before heading back. Bus travel provided between stops. Just be sure to bring plenty of water, and be aware that the hike up Vesuvius is steep and dusty with little shade.

Vesuvius & Pompeii - Andrea’s group ! - Andrea was fantastic. Really great job, very personable, and would highly recommend! It was great to be able to see both sites in one day and not be rushed. Thank you for a great time!

Pompeii - The meeting time was indicated at 8:15am with a suggestion of getting there 10 minutes early. Due to traffic in Napoli we arrived at 8:10am but were met with hostility because everyone else was told to meet at 8am. The guide Rebecca was nicer after the initial interaction and the experience at Pompeii was unforgettable. Our Pompeii guide, Patricia, was knowledgeable and took us into places that larger groups are not normally allowed as she knew all the security people. I would not recommend the lunch suggested by the guide as it was just OK. The trip to Mount Vesuvius was fun and we were lucky to have a very experienced driver as the road up can be quite hairy, especially for a larger bus. The hike to the top of the volcano was breathtaking with great views of Napoli and surrounding coastline and the craters itself. All in all I would recommend this experience but get there early or Face the wrath of Rebecca.

Amazing to see pompeii but too rushed - The guide in pompeii was great and the overall guide for the trip was lovely. We went at 9am when it wasn't too busy and it was incredible to be able to see the ruins and be provided with additional information. We were really disappointed that we were not given any free time in pompeii. At the end of the 2 hours we weren't promptly led out and told we had an hour for lunch (felt like a ploy to eat at the restaurant the company had a deal with-as we are vegans this was also problematic regarding food choice and prices) . It would have been better to have been given the opportunity to use some of that time for free time in pompeii for those who wanted it. We came out the tour feeling really disappointed that there was no opportunity for this and to see some more of the ruins at our own pace especially as this was such an important trip for us. There was definitely time to do this especially as we got back to naples before 4pm.
