5 star tour and guide!! - We had an absolutely amazing tour with Frankie. The whole experience was professional and well organised. We caught the 1 hr 10 min high speed train to Naples from Rome. Picked up on time by clean minivan at pick up site . Frankie was waiting for us at Pompei drop off point. What can I say about Frankie- his energy and passion for Pompei and infectious laughter made the tour a highlight of our trip for us. We learnt so much and he kept all of us engaged in our group including 6 teenagers! Dropped back to Naples with plenty of time for our return trip to Rome. A very easy day trip from Rome!

Must do!! - Our tour guide Francisco was great - he was funny, knowledgeable and knew how to move around the site. Even with crowds there, he adapted our tour in real time to avoid them. We highly recommend!!

Wonderful tour with Francesco - We had a fantastic tour with Francesco. He was incredibly knowledgeable, funny and knew so much about Pompeii. He was very good with my young son too and kept him engaged. I hope you can all have Francesco, he absolutely made the trip for us.

Fantastic tour! - What a fabulous tour! Carmen is a superb guide with encyclopedic knowledge and easy to understand, he showed us key areas and hidden gems. 2 hours in the city grounds was perfect.

Great tour and transpertation - Tour was informative and entertaining. Frankie did a great job of keeping everyones attention and providing interesting facts. The transportation was very clearly communicated from Naples.

Fascinating - Our tour guide Frankie was just the best!! Extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Pompeii and really brought everything to life. I definitely recommend booking a morning tour as the afternoons get very crowded.

Frankie goes to Pompeii! - Two thousand years ago this city was operating an advanced society and by virtue of the volcanic ash, Pompeii has been preserved for all to marvel! Our tour was a small group. We had opportunities to comment and ask questions. Our guide Frankie was exceptional: knowledgeable, witty, funny, and helpful.

Fun tour and a MUST DO while in the region! - Overall we had a wonderful experience that we would recommend! Pompeii is A MUST! A guided tour was well worth the cost. We had some pros and cons worth sharing but our recommendation is a YES for this tour. Pros: Great guide and lots of fun facts. The tour time of 2.5 hours was good for us as we had been walking so much that anything more felt too long. Cons: The pickup location is the Ramada and was not easy to get to - it's not affiliated with the hotel and seems to be a popular tour pick up/drop off. So you really have to look out for your group. Communication would have solved a lot of issues. Our tour operator used WhatsApp but didn't share that our pickup was a few minutes late and was someone contracted in a TAXI. We were the only couple being picked up at this location so it was concerning to hop into a Taxi with no prior information of this being given to us. Once we arrived in Pompeii we were told to wait under an umbrella for 10 min and it was more like 45 min while the guides were hanging out and chatting. It felt a little thrown together instead of a well organized tour. The guide redeemed this poor pickup/dropoff experience with her tour!
