Fascinating adventure! - The underground Naples tour was a fascinating adventure. The history of the engineering and stability of the underground tunnels is an education that cannot be repeated in a classroom. ( I am a teacher.) Walking where they did in ancient times AND as a bomb shelter in WWII gave me chills. It was also COOL down there when it was 90F above. There is a narrow space that you will walk through if you want the entire experience. I highly recommend it. Our family of 13 adults loved it, minus my brother who was a little freaked out which I found hilarious.

Great Experience for Really Good Value - An unexpected experience. It is so much bigger than we thought underground with history spanning more than 2000 years. Excellent value for money. So glad we did it.

Great Historical Tour - Maya did a great job teaching our group the long history of the Naples Underground from 800 BC with the Greeks to today. There was a surprise at the end of the tour. I didn’t realize we’d be visiting a Roman Theater as well that is hidden below our feet in Naples.

Crowded, Chaotic, and Still Worth It – A Mixed Experience at Naples Underground - Our visit to the Naples Underground was a bit of a rollercoaster. The experience itself is fascinating and definitely something you should do while in Naples—but be prepared for some frustrating moments along the way. We had purchased our tickets online in advance (which I highly recommend), and we were glad we did. The line to buy tickets onsite was extremely long, wrapping around the entrance. Unfortunately, redeeming our online tickets wasn’t smooth either—the ticketing process was chaotic, and the staff were shockingly rude and unhelpful. We weren’t the only ones who seemed confused or frustrated, and the lack of clear direction only made things worse. We booked the English tour, but our guide had such a heavy accent that it was hard to understand her. To make matters more difficult, the group size was huge, and she didn’t use a microphone. Between struggling to hear and not being able to get close enough to see what she was pointing out, much of the historical information was lost on us. That said, the final part of the tour made it all worthwhile. Exploring the narrow, pitch-black tunnels was an absolute thrill—my husband and I couldn’t stop giggling as we squeezed through the tight passageways. It was fun, eerie, and completely unique. In summary: the staff could use a serious attitude adjustment, and the tours would be much better with smaller groups and clearer audio. But despite the drawbacks, the underground tunnels themselves are amazing, and I’d still recommend this experience to others visiting Naples—just go in with realistic expectations and book ahead!

difficult to get started - We had a skip the line ticket but had to ask 5 people before we got to skip the line. The tour was good but the start was not.

Nice cool break from the heat - Wish they had more English tours- cool that it had a second part above in the city. Was a good amount of time - over an hour for the value.

Ok but not great - Our guide was difficult to understand and towards the end we were handed over to a different guide who didn't speak English.

Too many in group! - Would have been a very informative trip but the group was far too large, couldn't hear guide. A little chaotic on arrival at the site, instructions on what to do not clear, shouted at quite aggressively by staff member

Napoli The Beautiful Customer Service Special - The tour guide was nice but all other employees(also guides but not for our time slot) very rude, very disorganized entry, needed to wait in line even if we paid skip the line.
