Edwardo made the tour. - When we got there I was worried are group was too big. But Edwardo kept us moving and kept us all engaged. His story telling is superb as was his knowledge of the underground and also of history in general. Great guide!

Typical Naples - Typical for Naples, not much to see, crowded, dirty. Received good information and was entertained. But, the tour is crowded and overbooked making hearing and seeing difficult. I would not recommend this tour.

Avoid spending unnecessary money. This is not the underground Naples for which everyone queues in Naples! - Very disappointed. Unfortunately, it is difficult to understand online which is the official underground Naples to visit, and this was not it. This tour of the Spanish Quarters is organized by young volunteers and is just a visit to ancient wells to collect water. There are no ancient objects found except for 7 or 8 items of no value and an old bed frame. The descent to 40 meters deep is certainly impressive, and the guide Giulia was excellent, bringing the stories to life with her tales of Neapolitan history and superstitions (the only positive note of the short journey between rooms that would otherwise have been a rather boring tour). The only two moments that were a bit more adventurous were the two passages through the narrow tunnels, which are not mandatory for those who suffer from claustrophobia. For the rest, there is only tuff walls to see. I spent €15 per adult and €7 for the 12-year-old girl. That was the most useless €52 I have ever spent in my life! Moreover, without any receipt!
