Begin your adventure with a 2-hour guided tour of Pompeii, led by a knowledgeable archaeologist. After the tour, savor a traditional Italian lunch at a local restaurant and sample local wine.
Upon reaching Mount Vesuvius, choose between two trails: The Crater Trail, a scenic hike to the summit offering breathtaking views of the Bay of Naples and a close-up view of the crater, or The Valley of Hell Trail, which takes you through lava flows from the 1944 eruption, featuring fascinating rock formations and a small lava cave.
Both trails are guided by experts who provide valuable insights into the region’s geological and historical importance.

Thunderstorm at Pompeii/Vesuvius - We had inclement weather for our trip, but Clemente, our guide, and Roberto, our driver, made due for a fantastic tour! The tour of Pompeii was convenient and interesting. A thunderstorm made for a charming backdrop of the ruins with distant thunder imitating an eruption… until the rain came! It proved to be memorable, and our guide managed to keep the tour going despite the downpour! Although no ponchos/umbrellas were provided, they would’ve been pointless with the storm we dealt with. Maybe keep in mind bringing something if a lighter storm is expected!
The lunch was great and both larger and tastier than we expected. Would recommend the wine tasting. It featured 4 local wines.
The hike was steep and moderately difficult so plan accordingly. The storm may have affected our ability to do the hike had it not cleared when it did. Although the crater was neat, the view of Naples, Sorrento, and beyond was most special!
Overall would recommend this tour 100%!

Really good tour and food - Really good tour, Mario70, Maria and Anna were all excellent. The food and the wine were lovely and we learned a lot. Really made a difference to our holiday after our holiday company (Tui) let us down and wouldn't offer pick up anywhere near us for trips.

Awesome excursion but weather was too hot. - Giovanni was our local guide, Tony was our expert guide that guided us through Pompei and Francesco was our expert driver. We enjoyed our day thoroughly thanks to the collaborative effort by all.
The day was extremely hot and we opted not to take the climb up to Mt. Vesuvius due to the extreme heat but got some nice pics. Pompei is amazing and Tony tried to keep us in the shade but it was Hot!!! Awesome excursion but best to go in better weather. Lunch was adequate but caused some confusion regarding wine tasting vs non wine tasting at lunch. Would have liked a glass of wine but did not get one.

Great Adventure - We had a really great Day with Mery and Antonio L. The busdrive up Mt. VESUVIO is worth the Tour. Also through Napoli. It's crazy. Lunch Was absolutly delicious.

Visita piacevole - It seems to me to be an uncommon experience that everyone who passes through Napoli should do! We went on a very sunny day, we recommend blocker and a good cap. The skip-the-line tour was the best, many crossings had arrived in Naples and it was quite crowded. Our very knowledgeable guide to all aspects and data of Pompeii. Very interesting the spots I highlight. In addition we climbed Mount Vesuvius, something challenging after all the hot day I would only recommend in case of a certain physical condition, the climb at some times is somewhat steep. Wonderful lunch!

Great tour. Highly recommended - Very good tour. Tour guide was great. Staff were friendly and efficient. We had to be picked up outside Starhotel and were returned same way. Must wear comfortable walking shoes and hat and shades. Be prepared. But great overall. We are glad we did it

Bad experience - never again - Tour made on a particularly hot Sunday, with a totally black bus without windows (except the small two front near the driver and guide) and without air conditioning.
From the first minute inside that 4-wheel oven we made the situation clear.
After a series of lies told by the guide about whether the air conditioning would work once he left he then had to admit that it would not work for the whole tour.. we found ourselves abandoning the tour before its end because we were sick from the sweltering heat inside the bus.
The driver has repeatedly taken the wrong road by lengthening our agony in the bus.
Water provided us totally insufficient, lunch barely mediocre.
The otherwise awake guide did not understand the situation at all and forced us to stay inside the bus against our will despite being unwell, we had to escape and abandon the tour once we arrived on the Vesuvius paying for another bus to return home.
We asked for a full refund of the tour and the assistance turned out to be in line with the experience we had, bad!
Embarrassing that such a company behaves like this, never again!
Obviously I had to omit many details that made the experience sadly to forget, or rather, to remember just to advise against it!
