Great tour with Max - Max was our guide and very informative and just a lovely person. The tour took us to areas we would have never seen or enjoyed on our own. Our lunch was delicious. I highly recommend the tour. We came in on a cruise ship and Guido picked us up and dropped us up with ease.

Review of Coastal Ride to a Vineyard with Lunch - Our Heart of Naples tour was cancelled last minute because of a sick guide so we were offered the coastal ride to the vineyard for the same price. The meeting point was about a 10 minute walk from the cruise port, and we were shuttled to north Naples and their shop, about 20 minutes away. To our horror one couple brought three young children, and child seats were provided to the parents, but one of the guides had to carry the third. One woman had a hard time riding her e-bike, and had to be rescued on the way back. Another complained it was too difficult, and a third woman actually fell over in the vineyard, badly scraping her leg. But the guides handled all of this and more with true professionalism, I was really impressed, though it gave me pause as someone considering becoming a bike guide myself with all they had to deal with! On a normal ride with more seasoned cyclists none of these issues would have occurred, as was the case with the 19 other rides I did on this trip. If you can't handle riding a bike back home, please don't sign up for a bike tour abroad. Back to the tour itself, after some city riding, partially on a bike path, we emerged at the coast on a sunny day with spectacular views across to Capri, riding on uncrowded streets and seaside promenades. I would have liked more stops to take pictures of the awesome vistas, instead of having to click my camera while riding. The guides finally stopped at a nice viewpoint and gave interesting information about the area and its volcanic history. After riding through a historic town and a more industrial area, stopping at some interesting ruins en route, we arrived at a volcanic crater lake that we rode next to and ended up in a vineyard for a small winery. This was a very scenic area, and we enjoyed a delicious lunch with local focaccia, sandwiches, olives, cheese, and both white and red wine from the winery. It wasn't just samples, the hostess kept bringing out more food, such that even these cruise ship buffet eaters had plenty. It was nice to get to chat with our fellow cyclists and the guides here. We then walked through the vineyards to some interesting Roman ruins, then finished by biking around the rest of the lake. The ride back to the shop was not enjoyable though, it was along a busy hilly road with no bike lanes. But the guides had told us "drivers will honk at you, it just means they are saying hello," which I loved. We stopped only once at more Roman ruins, but not at any of the panoramic overlooks, as we were in the hills away from the coast. It's possible they were concerned with our cruise ship departure deadline, hence the shorter more direct route?? I would have much preferred, and was expecting, to go back the same way we came on the coastal route. I'd recommend requesting that, it wasn't worth the bad route just to see those final ruins. All in all, for us anyway, it was an extremely enjoyable tour. Even the woman that fell over loved it, not so much the one who couldn't ride and got rescued. The children were fine on the bike seats, though I wouldn't want to take my kids on that final busy road we were on. Mavin deserves lots of credit for all they did for everyone that day, they are true pros.

Recommend! - My husband and I booked this last minute while in Naples and had so much fun! We got to see so many places and views we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. We also stopped for lunch and had “fried pizza” which was delicious!

The most fun I've had in ages! - My daughter (18) and I thoroughly enjoyed our e-bike tour. We were lucky that there were only two of us in the group but the actual tour would have been fun with a larger group too. We loved the e-bikes which were new and amazing to ride. Our guide was friendly, helpful and brilliant at guiding us through the frankly crazy Neapolitan streets! We were picked up promptly from our hotel (unlike the Pompeii tour the day before which was massively delayed and impacted our trip and for which we received not even an apology or acknowledgement) with good communication throughout. The tour covered about 5 hours in total, we think we cycled about 30km up and down but it was effortless, and included a pizza stop - delicious.

Great company, guide and tour - Enrico was fantastic, the bikes were in great shape and the route was super interesting. The historic overview of each district put it all in context. I honestly fell in love with Napoli, the raw energy of the place is unique. My 9 year old son had a great time too and the hotel pick up/ drop off was also appreciated.

Single file please. - Most of the ride is through urban areas, not countryside. The wine tasting is actually a multiple bottle session with cheese and breads over an hour or more. It was fun.
