Located at the northern tip of the Gulf of Naples in the Tyrrhenian Sea, it is conveniently close to Procida and Vivara. Visitors can explore the island for about two hours, enjoy a meal at a local restaurant, and, upon request, swim in the waters surrounding the island.

Visitors can take the time to explore and discover its unique allure, and, upon request, swim in the waters around the island.

During the warmer months, many people visit to swim and reach the islet. This small paradise boasts a fascinating history and exceptional landscape value. Once connected to the mainland by a narrow sand strip, Punta Pennata became an island in 1966 when a powerful storm swept away the fragile isthmus, completely detaching it from mainland Italy. Today, this remarkable place is a blend of untouched nature, archaeological treasures, and an atmosphere of rare beauty. Surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation and enhanced by the nearby Schiacchetiello, Punta Pennata holds historical significance for the local community. Recently, the islet has made headlines as it has been put up for sale.

Embark on a journey from Rome with a delightful boat tour starting from Naples, exploring three stunning islands: Punta Pennata, Procida, and Ischia. Besides swimming, guests can choose to have lunch on either Ischia or Procida, with 2 hours of free time to explore the island. The tour departs from Rome at 07:00, arriving in Naples by 09:45, with the boat tour commencing at 10:00. The return to Naples is at 18:00, and guests will be back in Rome by 20:00. A private driver is included, providing hotel pick-up and drop-off in a van. The driver is fluent in English and will maintain constant communication with guests.
