From Niasca to Baia del Cannone in Portofino, your guides provide an adventurous and secure excursion both on land and sea, taking…

Outdoor Portofino
Via Duca degli Abruzzi
Outdoor Portofino’s nautical base is located in Niasca in the bay of Paraggi, distant one kilometer from Portofino. The sandy beach is nestled in the green Mediterranean scrub which, only in this sheltered area from sea storms, it arrives to touch the water.

Coasteering Portofino - Beautiful location and fun cliffs to jump in. It was in a nice cove which was great to swim in after. Sara was a fun guide.

Canyoning of a different kind - brilliant! - I recently took part in the coastering and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. I had previously expected it to be quite nice and that we would probably do some kind of "action hike" along the coast. But it is actually just like canyoning, just in the sea. Action-packed, exciting and a real experience. I was about 5-10 minutes late, which was no problem at all. A quick call -> OK, we'll wait. Arrived, put on the equipment, a meeting, off we go! Our guide was Manuel. A super friendly guy with a lot of specialist knowledge and a sense of safety. He is passionate about what he does and has a lot of fun doing it himself, which made the experience even better. At no point did we feel unsafe and after about 1 1/2 hours we were done. A good challenge and also doable for people who don't have THE fitness. You should still be fit, otherwise it could be torture. It was really a lot of fun and if I ever come back to Santa Margharita (Portofino), I will book the tour again. Dear Outdoor Portofino Team: Keep your concept in any case ;)

We actually didn't get to... - We actually didn't get to go coasteering because we didn't bring shoes with grip like sneakers. Viator failed to state that we needed to being those shoes in the details for this activity, but Outdoor Portofino were kind enough to not only refund us since we were not advised to bring the shoes and even let us use the other equipment instead in the water. That really made a difference in our day!

unforgettable experience - It was an unforgettable experience! We didn't really know how the tour would go and were very excited. The atmosphere was relaxed with a few games at the beginning and then we went into the water. The guides has been so lovely and helpful. We can recommend this tour and the whole company "Outdoor Portofino". There work lovely people. It is really worth every penny! Thanks to the guides Julia and Manuel!

Unique - Very adventures and unique! This is not for everybody, but if you are fit and wanna try something new, this is the thing to do: with climbing on cliffs, swimming at the coast and jumping from rocks, this was one of the most special experience I had in my life, although my climbing background. Keep in mind that it is quite exhausting, so you should be fit, but the tour can always be adjusted to your fitness level, because the tourguides are very friendly and thoughtful. Definitely worth a try!

Older people need not apply - My husband and I are both 65+. We do HIIT at Orange Theory 3-4 times per week. We love climbing and try to do at least one Via Ferrata per year. We also do at least 2 Spartan obstacle races per year and we are avid skiers. There is NOTHING on their website that says that anyone over 65 cannot participate in the coasteering. We had even gone to Outdoor Portofino 2 days earlier see if we could arrange to do both the kayaking and the coasteering on the same day because we were staying in Genova, which is a fair distance from the Baia di Paraggi. No one said anything about our ages then. But when we arrived today, we were told by the guide we were too old. He didn’t care to hear about what we are capable of doing, he was not going to allow us to come. Of course, we are supposed to get our money back (there will be another poor review if we are not reimbursed). I hope our erstwhile guide never has to be judged on his age instead of his ability.
