“Beautiful scenery - The scenery was amazing! We LOVED it! Alberto made the bike tour so interesting. The bikes were so easy to use. The Abbey is a hidden gem. The lunch was perfect with the wine tasting. We had to do a lot of luggage shuffling to get the 5 bottles of olive oil and wine packed. If you know,…you know!” - Reviewed on 2024-10-18
Afternoon Delights in the Tuscan Countryside

The journey begins with a leisurely walk around the quaint village of Vicchio, where the tranquil lake reflects the azure sky.
Cycling through the countryside, you’ll discover the ancient Chiesa di San Cassiano In Padule, a Romanesque church that stands as a testament to the region’s historical tapestry. The tour also includes a visit to the Casa Di Giotto, offering a glimpse into the life of the great artist. As you pedal past the Villa Poggio Bartoli, once the country residence of Florence’s noble families, you’ll be enveloped in the timeless beauty of the Tuscan landscape.
“Amazingly beautiful countryside! - We took this tour in January and even then, the surroundings were lush and beautiful. I can imagine how much prettier it would be with the yellow flowers covering the hills like it does in spring. Our tour guide Simone was very polite and knowledgeable about the area. The bike ride was fairly easy even us for us inexperienced riders. My kids particularly enjoyed the visit to the farm when they saw horses, cats, a pig, bunnies, and a turkey. The saffron tasting was interesting as I did not know much about it prior to the tour. I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in Florence for a chance to do something off the beaten path.” - Reviewed on 2019-01-15
