Winery tour - We made a last minute decision to take this tour and we are so happy we did it! It was one of the most enjoyable parts of our trip! It was nice to get out of the city to see the countryside! Our bus driver Claudio and tour guide Emma were wonderful! The bus was comfortable. The staff in the wineries were so knowledgeable and nice!

Great day out! - I had the best time, Marco was a great guide. Very informative and fun. I would highly recommend this tour. I really liked the fact that it left in the afternoon.

Great value tour! - Very good tour and excellent value for money. It's a big tour of like 50 people but that doesn't really matter. Both wineries were great - the first for a beautiful setting and nice wine with good prices if you want to buy, and the second one gets a bit more fun. It's quite rushed to do both wineries and the town but it means you're not sitting around for long before more tasting and you're done in the half-day. I'd do it again.

Cheap, Friendly and Enjoyable! - If you’re looking for an exceptional yet budget-friendly wine experience in Chianti, look no further than the “Experience in Chianti.” This tour offers an incredible blend of affordability, comprehensive wine education, and the friendly guidance of Marco, your knowledgeable host. He is approachable and eager to share his extensive knowledge, making the tour both informative and enjoyable. In addition to the wine, the tour offers breathtaking views of the Chianti countryside. The rolling hills, picturesque vineyards, and charming villages make for a truly memorable setting.

Good experience if you’re short on time - This was a really great way to get out of the busy area of Florence and experience a bit of the countryside. The first winery was ok (light pours and a little quick) but the second winery was fantastic! The speaker was very engaging, the wine was delicious, and the environment was very fun. The last stop was nice, but there was little information given about the spot or what to do while there. It also felt very rushed.

Ok but could be better - So the wine was great, however, this tour was super commercialized. The group was huge and split into two tour busses. The first winery was cute and authentic, however the second winery came off as a tourist destination. While the wine was good at both places and we did get to sample some foods, be ready to be part of a massive group and not get very much one on one time regarding the wine. The samples of wine were all very small, and you had next to no time to enjoy a glass or bottle after the tasting at either winery which was a disappointment. At the end you go to a castle area which was cool and all but we would have rather had more time at the wineries….

Not exactly what we signed for - The tour was in english, and it is basically a wine tasting experience. It is not a winery visit so you can get into the wine culture. From the 3 stops we were supposed to do, only two were made, partly because of a road accident. The bus didn’t have good air conditioning, which was very bad because this summer temperatures are so high in Italy! So we sweat a lot. Also at the last atop, although you can visit the cellars and that’s very nice, the wine tasting guide is more interested in selling the wine to you, so does not explain what you’re tasting and the characteristics of the wine. They even use the same glass for the two wines they give you for tasting. The first experience was a different thing, and saved the trip, which was not in Spanish but English, although we requested Spanish. Marco, the wine expert, was very funny and made the group interact around wine tasting. It was very nice. So I cannot give the tour a high qualification, but if you’re in Firenze and have the time, I think you should consider this type of experiences.

Chianti half day wine tour - The wine we sampled was very good and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and happy to answer all questions not only about wine but history of the region in general. With saying that, the first vineyard did not provide much wine or snacks with extremely small pours. It felt a bit lack luster for a visit in Tuscany. The second vineyard was a much more engaging and fun experience and the staff were very friendly. The second location also provided more snacks and pairing with the wine, and a greater learning experience. There was essentially no air conditioning on the bus and it was 35 degrees outside so this was rather unpleasant for the ~45 minute bus ride one way, despite the post stating “air conditioned bus”. Overall, it was a fine tour but I don’t know if it was worth the price.

Hostel Quality Tour - unfortunately we were paired with an extremely disrespectful and rowdy group that ruined the tour for the entire coach. For the price it is expected that we wouldn’t have had a private tour, however, what we experienced was very unpleasant. The group was so rowdy and loud that we could not hear anything at the tasting and it affected our ability to enjoy ourselves. Would caution people prior to booking that this is a large group tour and you may be grouped with a disruptive clientele like we were. Screaming and standing up on the bus, yelling, etc. Not our ideal image of an afternoon spent in the Tuscan Countryside but rather a college tour a hostel would sell
