This trail is called Altomontana, a 37 kms off-road path.
Our Enduro bikes allow you to ride in all comfort and safety, and also enjoy the adrenaline.
On this tour, we will discover a totally different landscape, a kaleidoscope of nature and emotions in one tour. Don’t miss it!
Arriving at the Galvarina Refuge, we will visit Hornitos (a volcanic conic structure). This is the highest area of this trail.
Afterwards we descend and we will find an haystack, evidence of the ancient tradition of shepherds on Etna.
One kilometer after we will get to a lava tube “Grotta of Monte Nunziata”.
Depending on time, we will reach the top of Monte Nunziata admire the view from there.
We will have a chance to have lunch (not included) along the path.
We will cross the lava flow of 1981, a quick and powerful eruption that seriously threatened the village of Randazzo.
When we’ll finish the off road, the van will take us back to the meeting point.

A special ethna exploration. - Wonderful guided tour with lots of interesting information. In places without many tourists. With Carmelo as guide. A great memory.

Adventures at the volcano - Fantastic (electric) bike trip instructed by the very nice Gino.
Led by the super friendly and competent guide Raffaella.
He explained to us all the history, fauna and flora of Etna, and more...
She was always present and attentive to each of us.
Fun and educational trip.
It's worth enjoying this adventure.

A great ride around Mt. etna - A great day with Raffaela as our guide. She was very knowledgeable of the area. She made sure we had a wonderful day and gave us many interesting facts about the area.
My wife and I have different Mt bike skill levels and Raffael made sure we both were able to have fun at our different levels. She also made sure we had all the right equipment to be comfortable on our ride.
A great ride and highly recommended.

Bike tour - a great experience with a professional guide - Our bike tour on Mount Etna with Gino as our guide was an outstanding experience! Gino is not only incredibly knowledgeable about the geological and historical aspects of Mount Etna, but is also extremely attentive and ensures that everyone in the group feels safe and comfortable. The route was perfectly planned, with breathtaking views and just the right mix of challenge and fun. The eBikes were of high quality and ideal for the sometimes demanding trails. It was a perfect day and we can recommend this tour to everyone! Thank you Gino for this unforgettable experience!

Great e-bike experience - I did a solo tour e-bike with Gino through lava fields on the side of Etna. Gino was truly passionate about nature and sharing it with others. The route was off the beaten path and we did not see any other persons during the experience. Gino tailored the experience to me as an individual and made sure I enjoyed it. His equipment was also top of the range and I rode a £5,000 bike making it more enjoyable. He also used his go pro and drone to get some great action shots for me.

Exciting e-bike trip with spectacular views - Fantastic day trip with Gino on e-bikes around Mount Etna. The bikes were top quality, the trail and the views were spectacular. Gino did everything possible to make this a memorable trip for us. We hardly saw any other tourists and the trip felt very special. Gino is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Etna and it’s geology and flora and fauna. A first class tour.

Best guide, from A to Z. - Whatever kind of tour you‘re doing with Gino you‘re in for a treat:
He knows Etna inside out, top to bottom, fauna and flora, history and very likely even the future.
He‘s charming, welcoming and knowledgeable.
Knows all „wheres & whens“ from Ascending mountains to Zyklone like fireworks.

Amazing experience, sunset Etna trekking! - Did a private Etna Sunset trekking. Despite the fact that is was too cloudy to see the sunset, it was amazing! We climbed off the beaten path and walked through the lava fields. Afterwards we had a glass of wine and a dish with local cheese and sausage in a cosy rifugio including fire place. Absolutely great and delicious! Gino is a very passionate guide. Thanks!

Great tour, great guide & much fun! - We embarked on the 3-4hr Crater Summit E-Mountainbike Tour and we had a great day!
Our guide, Gino, made the experience truly exceptional. His knowledge about the Etna was both informative and accessible, enriching our journey. Gino makes you feel like you have known him for years.
Before we set off, Gino provided a thorough introduction to the bikes and guided us through the experience of riding on volcanic sand. If you're wondering whether you're fit enough for this volcanic adventure, worry not! The e-bikes allow you to tailor the level of assistance, ensuring it's as easy or as challenging as you desire. The bikes themselves were top-notch, well-maintained, and of high quality.
Our small group of 4 was captivated by the whole experience. Highly recommended if you want to do something more active and cooler than just driving up the etna by bus (boring). Additionally, Gino provided valuable tips for exploring the island and enhancing our stay.

The Real Etna Experience - We went in August 2023 with the cable car and all the other tourists up the Etna and walked around the top of Etna at 3000 meters....which is very nice and recommended, but if you want a truly memorable experience.....go with IntoEtna and enjoy the quiet, diverse Etna on eBike. We met Gino at Etna Sud and agreed to take the "all day around the Etna eBike tour" with my wife and two daughters (9 and 12 years old). Gino's father arranged for my youngest daughter smaller eBike. The tour took all day and was fantastic. Its not just about cycling, but also understanding the Flora and Fauna, geology, the people and everything that lives off Mama Etna. Rafaella was our super guide with super knowledge. It was amazing to explore all the different areas, starting from South side moving to the forests on the North side of Etna. We finished after 7 hours at nice bar in the forest where Gino's father picked us up. The eMTB's are top quality. The mountainbike tracks/paths are well maintained. We saw many birds, wild boar and wild pigs. As all others reviewers write (Gino - Rafaella - IntoEtna) deserve the 5 out of 5 stars.
