A first-class tour - Before booking this tour, I had many detailed questions. Roberto and Sara answered all of my questions, politely, patiently and accurately. On the morning of the tour, I received a WhatsApp message informing me which gate at the Messina Port I should use to meet the tour guides.
The guides, Claudia and Mariagrazia, transported us to the beach at Giardini Naxos for the boat ride. The boat captain, Francesco, took us on a beautiful tour of the coast, as we darted in and out of scenic caves. Swimming alongside the boat was optional. We were served delicious pistachio cookies and Prosecco.
After the boat ride, the next stop was Taormina. Claudia and Mariagrazia provided an informative tour of the important sites of Taormina. They recommended a place where I could be introduced to granita with a brioche.
We were returned to the cruise ship port after a brief drive through Messina.
A wonderful day, excellent guides and a very helpful company.

Perfect Excursion from Port of Messina - Great tour we took as a shore excursion in Messina. Our group of 8 thought this was the best excursion we have taken thus far during our 9 day NCL cruise. Mariagrazia was fabulous as was our driver and boat operator. The water, food and scenery - all outstanding.

Perfect day with boat, swim, and Toarmina free time - Enjoyed the tour from start to finish. The boat and swim option was a great way to enjoy the area, particularly in the heat. Would recommend fully!

Taormina and Isola Bella - Mariagrazia was wonderful. She picked us up at our ship and kept us on schedule. She gave us interesting commentary doing our drive to Taormina. The city was spectacular. We then took a boat tour of the harbor and took a swim. The water was perfect and crystal clear.

Beautiful day and... - Beautiful day and exploring of Taormina. Boat trip was lovely and we got local bisquits and glass of champagne. We also had chance to swim and see Isola Bella and Giardini Naxos and Taormina from the water. We finished tour in recommended local bar with very tasty food.

Scenic tour both in town and on the boat ride - Taormina is a Beautiful little town with great views. Loved the boat ride, and the amazing views. Did not swim because the water was too cold for me but enjoyed staying on the boat with my feet in the water.

Disappointing - Loved our guide and the tour to Taormina BUT the boat ride could've been a lot nicer if the boat captain wanted to put some effort into the boat tour! Weather conditions were perfect even our tour guide mentioned how it's going to be great due to low winds and how the waters not choppy! So going into the blue grotto and other caves should've been doable....we drove by and that was it! In addition instead of maneuvering the boat to tie down by Isola Bella the island that were supposed to visit he oped to just drop anchor in open water by the train station.....the water had tons of debris that had washed up.....so swimming was no good. Meanwhile lots of opportunity to anchor near the island so we could swim to it and explore for a minute but he was unwilling to do that. Not worth the money!
