- Cantine Bonfiglio - Following the cultural and historical exploration of Taormina, the tour continues to Cantine Bonfiglio, a winery established in 1986 that blends Sicilian tradition with contemporary winemaking methods. Upon arrival, the Bonfiglio family will welcome you and guide you through the lotus vineyards. The tasting session includes the “Donne di Famiglia” line, featuring “Beatrice” Faro DOC (a rich and full-bodied red) and “Eleonora” Rosato (a fresh and elegant rosé with a lighter, fruitier profile). You will also sample wines from the “Places of Origin” line, such as “Piano Cuturi” Faro DOC (a full-bodied red with complex flavors, aged in French oak for 24 months) and “Kalonerò” (a distinctive blend of Nero d’Avola and Nocera).
- Messina - After visiting the Bonfiglio Wineries, the tour will return to Messina to enjoy the stunning view from the city’s highest point: the Christ the King viewpoint. From there, you can see all of Messina before heading to the cathedral to admire the square and the ancient astrological clock of the bell tower.

A Hidden Gem in Sicily - Cantine Bonfiglio - Visiting this family-run winery nestled on a sun-kissed hill in Sicily was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth that made the experience feel deeply personal.
What truly set this visit apart was hearing the family's rich history of winemaking - passed down through generations with pride and passion. Each wine we tasted had its own story, and learning the meaning behind the names added a beautiful layer of every sip.
We were given a rare opportunity to see the entire winemaking process up close, from vine to bottle. The attention to detail was inspiring. The tasting itself was a delight: a selection of wines paired perfectly with local cheeses, fruits and nuts that elevated the flavors and made the experience unforgettable.
This wasn’t just a winery visit - it was a journey into tradition, storytelling, and Sicilian soul. Highly recommended for anyone seeking authenticity, beauty, and a true taste of Sicily.

Beautiful despite the rain in Taormina. Alessandro and Pary are listening to us. Umbrella and water available. a - Wow, what happiness this day is again. Bet and Alessandro are wonderful, adorable. Superb visit of Taormina, then tasting of canoli in Messina. Do not hesitate to contact them, you will have a wonderful day and in song because they both sing too well We love you very much.

Taormina tour - Our tour guides Allesandro and Aurora were amazing. They had refreshments ready for us when the tour started. They provided a comfortable vehicle for touring. Aurora was very friendly and helpful through the tour. She pointed out all the important places to see and we saw quite a bit with the limited time available.

- Alessandro and Aurora were exceptional! We asked for special arrangements and exception for starting our tour later than scheduled so they could accommodate us so we could attend Sunday Mass before going into Taormina. They greeted us after and took us to a cafe for a snack and refreshment before beginning our tour. They were both very knowledgeable drinking and taking us around everywhere . Aurora recommended shops for us and a place for a light lunch which was excellent! She was so knowledgeable about the area and history of Sicily and Italy in general. Both very friendly and went out of their way to make our experience so enjoyable. Would highly recommend them to anyone visiting Messina and Sicily!!

Wonderful experience - The drive, Allesandro was excellent, took us to memorable spots gave us time to explore, cannoli was best i ever had! The theme bar was quite an unusual experience, but the drive was best, green, lush countryside.

A fun family day tour to Taormina! - We had a wonderful trip to Isola Bella and Taormina with Alessandro! Our family of 8 all were well taken care of and he was always helpful! We wouldn’t have changed a thing!

Great Shopping - Bahar was energetic and positive. We all liked her. However she needed to really learn to guide. Stop to face the entire group and talk so we all hear. Focus more on details and history of the monuments and buildings. We had no mention of the big Roman Theatre. She give us a fantastic recommendation for lunch. We enjoyed the day.
