Today, along a tranquil water stream, stands the only restored watermill on Naxos island, estimated to be 250-300 years old. Adjacent to it is the traditional house where the miller lived, and where many Potamia residents would bring their dough to bake in one of the four large wood-fired ovens. Today, part of this cultural heritage is revived by offering guests a unique culinary experience deeply rooted in local tradition. In this hands-on experience, participants will learn to prepare four local dishes, including delicious handmade pies with seasonal ingredients, stews and roasts, and mouthwatering appetizers. Once the food is ready, the table will be set for guests to enjoy the fruits of their labor, accompanied by some homemade wine!
