Merzouga Desert - A team member will greet you at Errachidia airport or your hotel in southeastern Morocco. From there, the journey heads south through vast palm groves, kasbahs, adobe villages, and traditional towns. As the desert landscape unfolds, the stunning red-gold dunes of Merzouga will come into view. Upon arrival in Merzouga, you will meet your camel guide and prepare for a memorable ride over the dunes to your camp, where you will spend the night in nomadic tents. Dinner and music around a campfire will be provided, and if the weather allows, a breathtaking display of stars will be visible.
Merzouga Desert - Midelt - Cedar Forest - Ifrane - Fes
Fes - Begin the day early to witness the sunrise, followed by breakfast and a camel ride back to meet your driver. The journey continues north, with a visit to the fossil workshops in Erfoud, before traveling alongside the Ziz Valley, a palm-filled gorge with hidden kasbahs. A lunch break is scheduled in Midelt. From there, the scenery transforms into mountains and forests. In the vast cedar forests of Azrou, you may stop to observe the Barbary monkeys that inhabit the area. Ifrane, an alpine town reminiscent of Switzerland with its sloping roofs, offers a brief respite. After a short break in Ifrane, the journey proceeds to Fes.
