Fabulous food tour with an even better tour guide! - A brilliant afternoon visiting some mouth-watering food venues around Liverpool. Trev was the perfect tour guide for our Star Wars and Physics mad 17 year old and we couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon. Would recommend this tour to everyone; whether you’re a local or visiting the City, it’s a perfect way to spend the afternoon

Despite our last-minute booking and date mix-up, Paul went above and beyond to accommodate us. Paul's Expertise Shone Bright! Paul's vast knowledge of Liverpool's heritage and history was truly impressive, even to us locals! His passion and enthusiasm brought the city to life, and we discovered hidden gems we never knew existed. A Culinary Journey to Remember! The five-bar tour was a masterclass in culinary storytelling, with each venue carefully curated to represent a different course: 1. Entree: Madre set the tone for the day. 2. Tea Room: Liverpool Tea Warehouse offered a taste of the world. 3. Main Course: Bundobust delivered an unforgettable experience! 4. Cheese and Wine: Lunya paired lovely wine with artisanal cheeses. 5. Dessert: Antonietta's ice cream and cakes were the perfect finale! Grateful for the Experience! Paul's expertise and love for Liverpool made the day truly special. We're already planning our next tour in Chester and can't wait to revisit Liverpool's evolving food and drink scene.

We had the best time! - We booked the Liverpool Walking Food Tour for 8 to celebrate a birthday. Gareth’s pre-event communications were spot on, and he was waiting for us as agreed at Liverpool’s Albert Dock. We were joined by another group of 4 who had previously been on the Chester Food Tour, also with Gareth & we were soon chatting away. We visited 6 independent venues handpicked by Gareth, for food & drink & can honestly say, apart from one venue that we’d stumbled upon on a previous visit, we’d have not found them. All owners & staff were so friendly and seemed to really appreciate the opportunity to talk about their businesses. We enjoyed amazing pastries, tacos, croquets, locally produced Gin and craft ales, cheese & wine. We finished our tour many hours later at a family run Italian restaurant & tasted several savoury dishes, finishing with a delicious made on the premises Gelato ice cream, with an extensive choice of flavours. Although the food was plentiful and very good, Gareth made the day. He was very knowledgeable about both Liverpool & the selected restaurants and took the time to get to know everyone’s names and join in the banter. I would not hesitate in recommend this tour. In addition to Liverpool, Chester, Shrewsbury & Wrexham he is looking to add other cities. I’m sure they will be just as good as his Liverpool tour.        

Amazing Liverpool food tour - My wife and I love to do a food tour whenever we are away on holiday and we are so glad we booked this. Trev was an excellent guide, not only taking us to great places to eat but also giving us historical updates as we walked around and also just friendly chat about other good places to eat and drink. Walking Food Tour. - Fab afternoon spent with our very knowledgeable guide Gareth. Food and drink was excellent. Gareth was very attentive,made sure we were all fed and watered. Pointed out all land marks and passed on his knowledge of each one. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. 6 ladies and we will definitely do it again. Thanks Gareth.

Fantastic approachable wine tour of Liverpool - Fantastic night! We were bought this evening by a friend who loves wine and raved about mikey as a wine guide. He was absolutely brilliant. My partner and I don't know a huge amount about wine and I think sometimes it can be intimidating to join one of these tours if you don't know, however, mikey made it SO approachable, fun and his knowledge is amazing. We started at the Chinese gate in Liverpool and took a short walk to each of the 4 venues which were individually fantastic. Great food, great wine and great company. We loved it. Definetely worth the money. Thank you and can't wait to book again!

Fabulous Experience - My friend and I spent a very enjoyable afternoon in a small group of 6 with our fantastic tour guide, Gareth. Gareth is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about good food and took us to 5 fantastic places, whilst pointing out other venues along the way. There was a great amount of food, spaced out throughout the venues and hearing the business owners talk about their creations was a lovely touch. This felt like a really personalised tour, with Gareth making sure everyone was brought into the conversation, taking time to find out our favourite cuisines and getting the conversation going with quizzes and fun facts about Liverpool and food in general. A fabulous afternoon with fantastic food from local businesses and great company - what's not to love?
