  Upon arriving in the delightful fishing village of Sisal, we’ll set off on an exploration of its lush mangrove forests.

2. Traditional Mototaxi Ride

To reach the mangroves, we’ll take a ride on a mototaxi (a local three-wheeled vehicle),

3. Mangrove Exploration by Boat or Kayak

Glide through serene waterways aboard a chalana (traditional wooden boat) or paddle at your own pace in a kayak.

4. Refresh at “Ojo de Agua Carbonera”

We’ll pause at the Carbonera Waterhole, a crystal-clear natural spring perfect for swimming.

5. Free Time for Beach & Lunch (3 Hours)

Beach relaxation: Unwind on Sisal’s sandy shores or take a dip in the Gulf of Mexico’s turquoise waters.

Your guide will suggest local eateries offering fresh seafood. (Food not included).

6. Return & Departure
   After a day filled with adventure, we’ll return to the village with unforgettable memories of Sisal’s wild landscapes and relaxed charm.

Sisal is a charming little town with a distinct allure, located on the northwestern coast of Yucatán. Renowned for its pristine white sands and picturesque boat excursions, it highlights the region’s stunning natural beauty, including its seasonal role as a flamingo sanctuary. Once a center of commercial activity, Sisal now flourishes as a peaceful fishing port, offering a perfect retreat from the everyday hustle.

Visitors can enjoy a motorcycle taxi ride to the kayaks or barges, followed by a tour through the mangroves. Here, they will encounter breathtaking landscapes, observe migratory birds, and explore the area’s rich biodiversity. Before the tour ends, a visit to Ojo de Agua Carbonera, a coastal spring, provides an opportunity to unwind in its refreshing waters.

Guests will also have leisure time to explore the town’s most iconic spots and indulge in its local cuisine (our guides are happy to recommend the best dining options!).
