One of the highlights of our trip to Mexico - We joined the Street Food Tour on May 16th with our guide, Diego, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to Mexico! Since it was the low season, the tour became a private experience for just my husband and me, which made it even more special. Diego introduced us to a wide variety of fruits, meats, and traditional dishes that we had never tried before. The tour took place across several local markets in Mérida, giving us a genuine insight into everyday life in the city. As Belgians, we are sometimes a bit cautious about eating at local markets when we are unfamiliar with the hygiene standards, but we felt completely comfortable throughout the tour and everything was perfectly fine. It was an excellent way to discover the local food culture and get to know the markets from an insider's perspective. Diego was incredibly knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting information about the food, the markets, and local traditions. He was also happy to answer all of our questions, which made the experience even more enjoyable. In short: we highly recommend this tour! If I hear that friends or family are planning a trip to Mérida, I will definitely recommend this company to them.

Food Tour of the Mérida Market - The tour was fantastic and exceeded all of our expectations. It was important to us that our tour guide spoke fluent English and was an effective communicator. Our tour guide was Diego Hernandez and met both of these requirements. The food was excellent with an assorted variety of fruits and meat. Diego guided through the experience in a relaxed unrushed manner. The tour was excellent value for the price we paid. I would strongly recommend this tour to anyone and everyone. Definitely a fun and rewarding experience

Great food and a delightful guide - We had such a fun time on the Food Tour. We sampled multiple varieties of mangos and other fruits; enjoyed regional dishes with pork and turkey; ate ceviche; and ended with ice cream! Our guide (Diego Hernandez) spoke perfect English and was very knowledgeable about food from Yucatan. He was also extremely sensitive to our food restrictions. My only "criticism" is that I ate too much - which is on me, not Diego. I recommend this tour (and guide) very highly.

Take your time and taste local delicacies - you won't be disappointed! - Diego was an incredible guide. We really valued the slow pace and the care and attention he paid to each of us. We discovered and tasted a large variety of seasonal fruit - the mangoes were just delicious. We explored the covered markets, which were a welcome relief from the incessant May heat. Diego made sure we had plenty of water. The panuchos and enchiladas were delicious but the fresh ceviche and gelato were incredible. Thank you Diego for your time and knowledge!

Genuine and flavourful tour of everything food related. - We had a lovely time with our guide Diego, who took us through everything from fruit and vegetables, spices, local delicacies and much more. For us, non-spanish speakers his immaculate English helped us enjoy a lovely, several-hour tour through the food markets.

Excellent street food tour with Romina - Romina was a fantastic guide. She was very knowledgeable about the town, kind, and friendly. She picked the best food and drinks for us to try - fresh fruits, local specialties, drinks, desserts, and more! Glad we came hungry! She also helped us when we wanted to purchase some extra items from the market to eat later. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to spend a few hours in the heart of town on a relaxed stroll with yummy food and good company. Thank you very much!

A Super Mayan Food Tour Experience - Romina is an excellent guide for this food tour, obviously passionate about her job and interest in food. We visited the central market where we tried at least 5 different kinds of taco fillings, sampled many of the spices used in Mayan cooking, tasted a variety of local fruits and sweets. We finished off the tour with ceviche and then ice cream. We had a bit of a problem at the beginning with finding our guide - instructions given to us could have been more specific but once we were connected everything else went smoothly.

Great Tour which We Recommend - Diego was a great guide and very knowledgeable about Mexican food. We had tastes of many different types of fruit and had some samples to take away with us. The various spices we were shown were fascinating as were the stalls in the market where tortillas were being made. We were so full after trying so many delicious foods that we skipped having an evening meal that evening.
