Great Yucatan trip with family - Amazing experience with your guide David & driver Martin. Nice tour of Izamal town, adventure in the Ik kil Cenote, good buffet lunch and finally great visit to Chichenitza in the late afternoon.

Wonderful day at Izmal, Cenote Ik Kil and Chichen Itza - Our tour guide, David Echevarría, is a highly regarded tour guide of his Mayan culture. We learned so much on this tour. This one is not to be missed.

Seeing Chechen-Itza in its best light - David was our guide for the day, and he was both a wonderful host and a very knowledgeable interpreter of the sites and Mayan culture. He provided much of the general background information about Izamal, cenotes, and Chichen Itza as we traveled between the sites, which assured that we also had time at each one to explore points of particular interest to us on our own. The sequencing of the tour placing Chichen Itza last placed us at the site later in the afternoon (from roughly 2:30-4:30). Not having the sun directly overhead helped both with photography and comfort. Do carefully read the "inclusions and exclusions" in the tour description as the combined Yucatan state and Mexican federal admission fees are significant--especially for non-Mexican residents. Also, be aware that Chichen Itza does not permit high-end photo and video equipment. You will not be permitted to bring in telephoto camera lenses or gimble devices for even a cellphone. You can pay an additional fee to bring in and use 'sports/adventure' type video cameras (not drones), but your best option may be a cellphone with a high-quality camera. It is a long day-trip from Merida, but highly recommended.

Fantastic, Action-Packed Day with Alberto! - We had an amazing full-day tour of Chichén Itzá, Izamal, and a beautiful cenote. It was fun, active, and filled with great experiences from start to finish. Alberto provided insightful and educational information about Mayan culture, the history of Yucatán, and the significance of each site we visited. His explanations about Chichén Itzá, Izamal, and the importance of cenotes really brought everything to life. He supported both Spanish and English speakers seamlessly, making the entire group feel included and engaged. A wonderful tour and a fantastic guide — highly recommended!

expensive - Izamal a waste of time. Cenote great. Lunch horrible. Terrible buffet. Beverages not included in price. Chicken Itza great. Pablo a good guide. Admission to cenote and Chichen Itza not included in tour price making it an expensive day.

The van was comfortable... - The van was comfortable and the driver drove well. The food wasn't good and there weren’t lots of options. At the pyramids, I wish the guide would have gone a little further in explaining some of the other parts of Chichen Itza. He really only talked about the main area but there’s many other remains around it that I saw and wanted to understand better. I would say for all the sites it was mostly a quick explanation in the van and then you mostly got to explore on your own which is fine if that’s what you’re into.
