Unique and Memorable - We had an amazing time on this tour! Getting to Chichen Itza early was a huge advantage—we were able to explore without the crowds and take great photos with hardly anyone else around. The private cenote on the family’s property was absolutely beautiful, and the home-cooked lunch they provided was delicious. They were also very thoughtful in accommodating our vegetarian diet, which we really appreciated—the food was fantastic. It felt like such a unique, authentic experience and was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Despite the rainy weather in Izamal, our guide was incredibly accommodating, letting us decide whether to explore in the rain or skip parts if we preferred. In the end, it was still a wonderful visit. This was our favorite tour of the entire trip, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Truly unforgettable!

Great day with a great guide! - This was a great experience! We left early, but it was worth it to get to Chichen before the crowds. The explanations from Delio were also fantastic, and he guided us throughout the whole trip with info. We had some free time to wander around Chichen - make sure you bring water, a hat, and if you have one, a sun umbrella. The cenote and the lunch were amazing, as was Ixamal. Overall, can highly recommend!

Chichén Itza Cenote tour - Our guide, Hernan, was informative and punctual. Our tour group was small, which was nice, and we were some of the first few in Chicen Itzá. It was great to experience it before the crowds and vendors came. After Hernan gave us a tour, we had about a hour to see the sights on our own. I didn’t feel rushed and got to explore as much as I wanted. Next, we went to a private cenote at a family’s home. It was a beautiful clear cenote and neat to have glimpse into rural family life outside Merida. The food they prepared was just ok, but the experience outweighed it. On the way back we stopped at Izamal for free time to wander. There’s a pyramid in the middle of town you can hike up or you can tour the old church and convent. Then, we drove back to Merida. I would definitely take his tour again and I recommend it (even though you have to wake up really early!)

Awesome - Truly unique experience. The private cenote was such a great experience and having lunch there really made us feel like a local. Such a great tour our host was so down to Earth and his tour was great. We learnt so much.

Excellent tour - A very complete and recommended tour The guide Delio an excellent guide with experience, knowledge and offers closeness and makes a very pleasant day The tour besides ChIchen Itza that is amazing surprised us the bath in the cenote, spectacular, the homemade food with the Mayan family very well, you are attended by the guide and does not interact the family, they leave you free as if the patio where you eat is yours The first minute entrance in Chichen Itza is worth the early morning, it is a fantastic option to see the first and with few people, since later it is massed both tourists and street vendors We really liked this tour with maximum 10 people nothing to do with the typical crowd tours

Such a great experience - We had literally the best day imaginable with Délio and Hernan and we are still speaking of how great the experience was, a few days later. Délio is such a sympathetic guide and a great story teller, we could have listened to him forever and ever. The tour itself includes handpicked and cleverly planned stops to teach about mayan history in Chichen Itza before taking a deep dive (pun intended) into mayan culture by visiting a mayan family, swimming in their "backyard cenote" and eating traditional and typical food. Izamal is a bonus stop on the way back, at which Délio once again showed how knowledgeable he is. 10/10 would do it again

Such a magical experience!! 😍 - This tour is so magical and filled with so much adventure! DELIO, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable, kind, respectful with such a warm heart. Chichen Itza and Izamal were so beautiful and powerful beyond words. And the family’s private cenote was a marvel!! Not only was the cenote gorgeous but the Mayan family that it belongs to prepared the most divine panuchos, guacamole, and fruit I’ve ever had in my life.

The meeting point is 186 miles from resorts - This is 186 miles from the resort area of playacar and over 150 miles from Cancun. It doesn’t clearly state it and when you google map it when you get meeting point you’ll be shocked and it was less than 24hrs. The description tells the address but gives no indication you should check to see where the meeting point is. The description is deceiving as it tells you it has vans
