Putu was an excellent... - Putu was an excellent guide. He was able to get us to all included sites by knowing short cuts to avoid heavy traffic. He was also very knowledgeable about each temple.

Bagus (tour guide) was amazing! - Bagus my tour guide was amazing. He is so knowledgeable and explained everything so well. Highly entertaining and I learnt way more then I expected. Very well spoken and English was flawless. The transportation was spotless too. Highly recommended. Thank you Bagus 🙏

Our driver/guide, Made,... - Our driver/guide, Made, was wonderful, explaining many interesting things about Balinese life and culture during the trip. He also skillfully navigated the challenging traffic conditions on the island.

Cultural insight - We really enjoyed the half day tour to Tanah Lot . Our driver, Nyoman was courteous and knowledgeable. The drive gave us good insight into the Balinese way of life.

Somewhat disappointing - Not a problem with Viator but traffic is horrible . We spent much more time in traffic than on the tour portion . 5 and a half hours total with about 2 hours at the sites . Regarding the tour itself we were somewhat disappointed. While the description says guided tour we were not . At both temples we were simply dropped off and left on our own to explore . While our guide tried his English was very difficult to understand

Bad Service All round - Long drive with inexperience guide, or rather just a driver. Pathetic actually. Bagus knew not very much, only little and a lot of criticism. We spent two hours on the road to get to Tanah Lot and he talked nonsense all the way there. I asked please tell us where we are and give us some commentary but he asked me why you want to know the route we’re taking. It was our first time in a Bali and was interested of where we were going. I asked for wifi, like all guided tours have in the car, and he said there was none. He said he had hot spot but didn’t have enough data to allow me to use it. Pathetic. Finally he allowed me hot spot but that dropped out after 1/2 hr. When we finally got there he left us alone to see the temples on our own. I complained why is he not showing us around and describing what we are seeing like a good guide should instead of sitting under a tree in the shade and smoking, while we did the temples on our own. He tried to pick us his game a bit after I complained. In the morning we had a 9 am pick up. He msgd at 7 am to say make it 10 am. Sorry no. He said your tour should only take three hours. I paid $A 143 for two persons for a five hour tour. He tried to cut it short. He also insulted me by saying I am Balinese and I don’t cheat. I said I’m not calling you a cheat but I want to get what I paid for. I booked a trip to see the temples at Tanah Lot with a professional English speaking guide as a guided tour. He insisted that he was only a driver. Also the car has bad aircon and very uncomfortable and can’t get the seat belts on. So everyone DO NOT take this tour it’s a waste of time and costs too much for what you get.
