Our favorite wine tour EVER - We had a phenomenal and all-time favorite wine tasting experience with Mauricio in Nov '24. He created the perfect day, shared knowledge of Argentinian wine and history, and was so kind and thoughtful as he guided us through our day. We're already planning a trip back to Mendoza based on our experience during our tour!

The Ideal Mendoza Experience - Mauricio is an ideal tour guide. A native of Mendoza, the pride he has for his city is palpable as he safely steers you through the tree-lined city streets while pointing out landmarks and disclosing historic facts. He shares a deep knowledge and passion for wine (having recently launched his own custom red blend!) and generously shares the relationships he’s forged with the region’s outstanding boutique wineries and restaurants. There is a strong, reassuring commitment to his declaration of “A to Z full service”. From the time we were picked up at the airport to our “see you later” hugs, he was attentive, communicative, and punctual (always early at our hotel!). We appreciated his efforts to ensure we had the best trip possible and sharing anecdotes about his fascinating life. Thank you for a wonderful tour of Mendoza and its wine country, Mauricio. Until we meet again! H&C

Look no further for your personal wine country guide - As a wine-loving couple living in Bordeaux, a trip to the vineyards of Argentina was way up there on our bucket list. We were helped enormously in visiting the wine country for 4 days by Mauricio, who is so much more than just a driver. He has spent years in the States and speaks excellent English. His family have lived for generations in Mendoza and he has strong links with the wine industry. He is a font of knowledge. The tours he sets up are the antithesis of ones for busloads of tourists who just about know that wine is made from grapes... If you want a tailor-made memorable trip to learn about Argentinian wines, he's the man to go to.

Friendly, knowledgeable guide that went out of his way to make our tour PERFECT! - Mauricio ensured we had THE PERFECT DAY in Mendoza! We had several issues the second we arrived in Mendoza (all our fault), and he was super flexible in helping us address the issues quickly and efficiently so we could move on with our day. I was pleasantly surprised at what a problem-solver he is, and how he just went with the flow and not let any of the bumps interrupt our plans.
Mauricio is FULL of knowledge about the area, and super super friendly. He shared tons of information about the region, the history, his family and his experience, and answered a ton of questions. His family is deeply rooted in aspects of the wine industry there, so he gives a really wonderful perspective.
Mauricio catered the day to our requests - we didn't want tour after tour after tour of production facilities - once you've seen one you've kind-of seem them all. Instead, he made sure to cater our stops to see/experience unique tastings in interesting settings ranging from a large, sophisticated producer to a family-owned small, intimate setting, and much in-between. We enjoyed every stop we made, and the wine was fantastic. We also got to see much of the beautiful scenery, and he pointed out interesting things along the way (e.g. garlic fields).
And to top things off, Mauricio even helped us coordinate getting a case of wine shipped home. He bought the correct box that we needed to check the case as a piece of 'luggage' and dropped it off at our hotel for us. This went above and beyond in terms of service, and was remarkably helpful. The case made it home across 5 airports, 3 flight legs, thousands of miles to enjoy with our family over the holiday season.
I would recommend spending a day in Mendoza wine country with Mauricio over and over and over again. It will not disappoint!

Two great days in the Mendoza Wine Region! - We did two days of wine tours with Mauricio and were so glad we did! He is fun, delightful and knowledgeable about the Mendoza wine region. He took great care of us to make sure we saw some of the most beautiful wineries and taste some of the best wines! There were a few wineries I wanted to visit but Mauricio picked out the rest and we loved them all! He made all the appointments, made reservations at great lunch spots and safely got us from Winery to Winery! He made it so easy and enjoyable for us. I highly recommend Mauricio’s service and feel that he really elevated our experience in the wine region. I hope to come back and tour with Mauricio again!

Convenient pick up, great wines, beautiful scenery - Guide conveniently picked up right outside our hotel and led us on a beautiful tour in both English and Spanish. We went to a special winery in the morning where we had a private tasting and conversation with the owner and winemaker, Laureano Gomez. Then we went to lunch where our guide took care of the reservation and a table was waiting for us when we arrived. Beautiful scenery, wines and hospitality. Would recommend - but note we also had to pay for the wine tasting and the cost of lunch once onsite. Not included in the tour cost.

Carlos is a great tour guide - Carlos was amazing. He was entertaining with his great stories. He took us to an amazing bodega with a delicious authentic lunch with great views. He was super courteous and even stopped to ask if an older couple needed help as they were biking and looked quite winded. Just an example of his great personality.

Great wine tour experience in Uco Valley and Maipu - We were two visitors to Mendoza who reached out to Mauricio very last minute (6pm the night before) looking for a wine tour starting from Mendoza city. We had tried to reach out to wineries directly for tours with no success. Mauricio set us up with Carlos who was a phenomenal driver and guide. His English was excellent and he had intimate knowledge of the wineries, where to go, and with whom we would have a great experience. We enjoyed the first day in Uco Valley with Carlos so much that we asked him to give us a tour in Maipu on the second day. We hit 3-4 wineries per day, had a delicious lunch each day, and learned a lot about the wine region. I would highly recommend Mauricio (and Carlos)!

Great experience …….pricey ! - We had a really good few hours visiting 3 different wineries. On the first one, Bodega La Rural, we were 2 of 12 and everyone apart from us spoke Spanish. The guide did a pretty good job of making us feel included and took the time to give us some facts in English. Bodega La Rural is more of a distillery and museum than winery, and it was very interesting to learn about the history and how wine is distilled. Since we’d booked through GYG we were given an extra glass of wine to taste.
Our second stop to Tempus Alba was a fabulous experience and our guide was extremely knowledgeable and her English was superb. We tasted 3 different varieties of wine and learned a lot about the winery itself.
We had lunch at Antigual and it was absolutely delicious. The only hiccup was they said we were entitled to a bottle of wine, not wine pairing as per our booking. The staff were helpful and conformed with our booking. Information regarding the event and pick up details were excellent, as was our driver
