The hike involves a steady ascent to 2,220 meters above sea level, spanning approximately 8 km with an elevation gain of 1,100 meters. It takes about 3–4 hours to reach the summit, where participants can admire expansive views of the Andes and Lake Potrerillos, capture photos, and take a brief rest. The descent is faster, taking around 2.5 hours.
After the hike, belongings are collected from the car, followed by a short 5-minute walk to the hot springs, offering an hour of complete relaxation — an ideal way to soothe tired muscles post-trek.
Adjacent to the hot springs entrance, there are small cafés where food can be purchased to enjoy inside (tables are available). Alternatively, a meal can be enjoyed after the hot springs — the choice is typically made spontaneously.
The return drive to Mendoza is expected to conclude around 6:00–7:00 PM, leaving participants pleasantly tired. It is advisable not to schedule any activities for the remainder of the day — except perhaps a delightful, relaxing dinner.
Please review “What To Expect” and “What’s Included” thoroughly. Looking forward to seeing you on the hike!

Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and embark on one of Mendoza’s most fulfilling adventures — a hike offering breathtaking views of the Andes and Lake Potrerillos, along with the unique opportunity to unwind in natural hot springs.
Unlike typical large-group tours, the operator keeps groups small (up to 6 people), ensuring a personal, flexible, and relaxed experience.
The trail is more about distance than difficulty (6–7 hours), and most individuals with basic fitness levels can handle it comfortably. There are a few short, easy climbing sections along the way, which most travelers find enjoyable.
For those seeking a lighter option, the route can be shortened to the first viewpoint — already a stunning location — reducing the total hike to about 4 hours instead of 6–7.
As a photographer, the operator can capture the highlights of your adventure with a camera or drone — perfect for preserving memories or enhancing your social media presence.
