• Schloss Orth - On the way to Hallstatt, there will be a pause at Schloss Ort, a storybook castle located on a tiny island in Lake Traunsee. Connected to the mainland by a wooden bridge, this whitewashed castle with its onion-domed tower is one of Austria’s most iconic lakeside sights.

Here, you’ll have time to cross the bridge, enjoy the atmosphere of the historic courtyard, and capture photos of the castle against the dramatic backdrop of the Salzkammergut mountains.
