This is a must do! - This far exceeded my expectations. Having never ridden a horse before, Filipa made this easy and very enjoyable! The views are unparalleled and the ability to get great pictures and video from the beach are amazing. Highly recommend this experience!

Amazing nature, horses and guide 🤩 - Thank you for an amazing experience. Me and my daughter had a great time riding on the beach. We are coming back, maybe for some riding lessons for me :)

A memorable experience - It was a wonderful experience to stay in our memory forever. We loved the beach walk and the Guide is an extraordinary and very friendly person who accompanied us with much attention throughout the journey. And the horse I rated the Polo, was fabulous. We thank the entire team for the fantastic experience they gave us.

An adventure - Nothing to point out since the reception the presentation of services, excellent staff sympathy, super well treated animals with excellent conditions. Besides being an outdoor activity we feel in the super safe and the will with the adventure. To highlight all the care and interaction that exists between animals and treaters . Horseback riding in Melides - Extraordinary ride. Wonderful scenery. Super nice team. I advise even if the horses were somewhat nervous

Healthy, happy horses and great scenery - Madeleina was an excellent tour guide, and the scenery was breathtaking, and her two dogs accompanied us, and were very well-behaved. We enjoyed it immensely, and will definitely go back and recommend it to all of our friends. The horses were really well taken care of, very healthy and loved.

Needs!! - The tours are very turns! However, I think it does not cost anything to the companies that do these tours to clean the trails, dunes and beaches. It is amazing as the beach where the walks are made, the nearest beaches and dunes are full of horse excrement. During my stay, I talked to several people who do not advise these beaches, due to the smell and dirt left by those responsible for the tours.

Unpleasant guide - Unfortunatly our experience was not positive. We got lost to arrive in Melides so we tried to call to ask if it was possible to do in the afternoon, but there was no directly number to call in Portugal, but in USA. Filipa finally called us and gave us the exactaly adress (we didn’t have it and we were just heading to Melides direction until somebody call us). When she finally called us we put in GPS and it was showing still 45 minutes and we asked her if we could reschedule for the afternoon because I didn’t want to disturb all the tour and she said it was fine because there was just one more couple and they were lost/late. We continue as fast as we could but she started to call us each 5 minutes to put pressure and to ask us to go faster with the car. In a total she called 8 times in 45 minutes, what was very stressful because it was the same device that I was using the GPS and my friends didn’t speak Portuguese, so I had to drive fast, deal with all her stressful calls, in a very difficult road. It was clearly that she wanted to be mean, even that she knew exactaly the time that we would arrive. Arriving there we understood that we were the only two people for the tour and she was just putting pressure because she wanted to leave soon. She complained about the time during all the tour and didn’t have any other subject during all the way apart from the road that we should had taken. When I tried to make any question to change the mood because I was curious to listen about the place she was very rude with any question and didn’t gave us absolutely any interesting information as a guide about the place. The tour took around 40 minutes. Luckily the beach and the horses were just amaizing, but I highly recommend to do it with another company. I was extremely frustrated because we planned this trip long time ago and the horse guide supposed to be the high point of the trip. I gave the tour to my friends as a gift, payed expensive price and had very unpleasant time because of Filipa that treat us very poorly. She just treated me better when I said I’m opening a hotel in the coast and was looking for partnership, but certainly I won’t recommend this company to my customers.

What a disappointment this was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - 1) the website is not a representation of what it looks like in real life. Horses have absolutely no protection from rain, sun, wind or any weather conditions outside some trees. They walk there in their own filth and way too small paddocks. 2) Since my husband and I are experienced riders I had booked a private tour to be able to trot and gallop. I was promised this, too, by the way. That didn't happen at all. We have had to keep driving like novices and have been nowhere near the sea. The supervisor told me that I could gallop in the (round) paddock afterwards if I wanted, but we are not going to pay 280€ for this. 3) I was told that a photographer could be hired who could take pictures or drone images. We wanted the pictures, which would cost 45€ (price list was forwarded to me in advance) When we came with the horses on the beach, we suddenly saw a drone taking images. Afterwards, it turned out that the photographer never comes just for photos during a private tour. He told us to take the drone footage. Totally upset, partly because of the disappointing ride, we ended up paying way too much for this as we had been sent the wrong price list. They are nice pictures, but certainly not worth their money. Don't be fooled by the photos you see on Tripadvisor or their website, because they certainly don't look like that. I am sorry that customers are being lured in such a way and I imagine that people, who have no experience with horses or riding at all, think this is fantastic, but this was far from it for us. 1 great deception!!! I'd say look for another place where they offer this.
