Walking Tour with Ian = An excellent experience! - We took the Complete Melbourne Walking Tour with Ian from Depot Adventures and had a fantastic experience. Ian’s passion for his hometown really shines through—he shared so much history, local insights, and points of interest in a way that was both informative and engaging. He gave just the right amount of detail to spark our curiosity and inspire us to go back and explore more on our own, which we did throughout our stay. Ian was an excellent guide, and we highly recommend booking this walking tour—it’s absolutely worth it. Pro tip: wear your comfiest walking shoes!

A must do! - Our guide, Hugo was terrific! He had good stories and jokes. He was great with questions and he spent the time to meet everyone in the group and create an environment that was welcoming and social. Highly recommend this tour to familiarize yourself with Melbourne and information about the history and culture of the city.

Knowledgeable and Incredibly Unique - I can't even begin to rave enough about Hugo and Julia. They took me all around, and shared all of their incredible knowledge about Melbourne. They went above and beyond, and provided me with such a unique experience. This may be my most favorite walking tour ever.

Wet day in Melbourne saved - Waiting to start the tour we were very close to just cancelling due to the rain. Fortunately we succumbed to peer pressure and enjoyed a fantastic tour with Alex the guide. Due to circumstances we only had one full day in Melbourne so thought this would be a good way to see part of the city. Whether it was Melbourne’s only Banksy, their love of coffee, a Lady Gaga story or Ned Kelly’s armour this was a great way to spend time in Melbourne. I cannot praise Alex highly enough for his knowledge, interest and humour and would highly recommend this tour if you are visiting Melbourne.

SCRATCH CITY IN AUSTRALIA (MELBOURNE) - We saw this beautiful city on foot among its skyscrapers and its riverside walks. Cosmopolitan city, full of skyscrapers, where Asian and Australian cultures come together in the streets. It is a must-see for your national library.

Good follow up from the owner, but bad service from the tour guide - I feel bad submitting this review, as the owner of the company contacted me to ask for my opinion of what happened on the day, my option was similar with what others had also told him, he did everything to better the situation by making contact, coming back to me with stops on the walk that I could do myself, offered an option on a Yarra river cruise on the day, or a full refund, which I took. Unfortunately on the morning, the guide ran late, when he turned up he was clearly hung over, disappeared to the bathroom and then announced the tour would not proceed. I had only one day in Melbourne to sight see, and this was it. Top marks to the tour owner, no points for the commitment of the tor guide himself.
