Fantastic day out - Bree was a fantastic guide. As I was travelling solo she let me sit in the front so the views were spectacular, and she was very friendly and chatty the whole way (when she wasn’t being a very informative and professional guide!) Everything ran on time and smoothly, and the penguins were amazing. Highly recommend!

Must do - I recently took the Go West Phillip Island Day Trip with Jools and Gumnut, and it was an excellent experience overall. The tour was well-organized from start to finish, with comfortable transport and a knowledgeable, friendly guide who shared interesting facts about Melbourne, the coastline, and the wildlife we encountered. Highlights included a visit to a wildlife park where we got to feed kangaroos and see koalas up close — a definite crowd-pleaser. The stop at the Nobbies provided beautiful views of the rugged coastline. Of course, the main event was the Penguin Parade, which was magical. Seeing hundreds of little penguins waddle back to their burrows at sunset was an unforgettable sight. Recommend anyone doing this trip.

Penguin Parade experience - The trip was fantastic especially with our tour guide Mel.She was so knowledgeable about our tour,She answered every single questions we asked, very friendly and approachable. My husband had asked her if she could drop us to our hotel since my husband is already 68 years old and has difficulty in walking. Without any hesitation Mel dropped us in front of our hotel on the way back home which our hotel was not too far from the pick up and drop area in Great South Hotel.

Moonlit sanctuary and penguin parade. - Brilliant day out around Melbourne, Brighton to see the beach huts, although we have these in the uk and have seen many in our time, it was interesting to see the amount of foreign visitors enjoying seeing them. The trip to moonlit sanctuary was good and is where I saw my first Koala and fed a kangaroo which was great. Penguin parade was the highlight of the day and it was great to see them coming out of the sea to return home and how small they are. Saw a possum on the way back to the bus which was so friendly and let me stroke it. Budgie our tour operator was amazing and certainly knew his stuff and was very friendly. All in all a great day out and well worth the money.

Good! - Everything was great except for the penguin parade on Phillip Island. It was quite a disappointment as there's inly a few penguins that showed up. We were not informed before going to the trip that we're not allowed to take any pictures once we see the penguins and this is quite a dealbreaker for us. Because we went all the way to Phillip Island fighting the extreme weather and waited about an hour amidst the crazy weather only to see a few penguins from afar and being yelled at by the workers there to not take any pictures. Apart from that, all the other sites are really wonderful! The sandboxes at St. Kilda are pretty and we really love the sanctuary as we can really see the endemic creatures of Australia up close! We had so much more fun there at the Moonlit sanctuary than the penguin parade. We really like the tour guide as well! Shoutout to Robbo for being such a lovely tour guide. He's really knowledgeable and informative and we really appreciate that! On top of that he's very friendly as well. Most of the trip are really enjoyable apart from the penguin parade, which is understandable as it is not under anyone's control.
