- Beaufort - The adventure starts in the relaxed town of Beaufort, ideal for a morning stretch and a quick snack. Then, it’s straight into the excitement as we head to Grampians National Park!
- Brambuk The National Park & Cultural Centre - Upon reaching the stunning National Park, we visit the Brambuk Aboriginal Cultural Centre, where visitors can explore and witness the creation stories that form the lore of this diverse landscape. Wander around the cultural centre to spot wallabies, emus, and possibly even echidnas in the bush. Gain a deeper appreciation of Gariwerd’s significance to the Indigenous people.
- Grampians National Park - In just one day, travel from Melbourne to experience the highlights of this awe-inspiring National Park.
Feel as though you’ve stepped back in time as you admire the ancient landscape with its rugged mountain ranges and spectacular sandstone ridges. With an experienced guide leading the way through this incredible scenery, you’ll leave the tour with a new understanding of the region’s countryside and history.
- MacKenzie Falls - Arguably the most famous waterfall in Victoria, we hike down to the base and back to admire the sheer volume of water and feel the refreshing spray in the air. The hike involves about 250 steps to the base and back, but if you prefer an easier flat walk over the top of the falls, that’s perfectly fine!
If MacKenzie Falls is ever closed to the public, this stop will be replaced with a peaceful hike to Silverband Falls.
- The Balconies - Next, enjoy a hike along the shady path through gumtrees and intriguing rock formations to The Balconies, where you’ll see the famous ‘Jaws of Death’ with majestic views and scenery, featured in the Japanese animation ‘Princess Mononoke’.
- Reed Lookout - Reed Lookout offers sweeping views down to Lake Wartook and out over the Victoria Valley and the Mount Difficult Range.
- Boroka Lookout - A photo stop at the magnificent Boroka Lookout perfectly captures the incredible scenery. Depending on the weather and visibility, we may alternatively head to Lake Bellfield to walk along the dam and feel dwarfed between the two mountain ranges.
- Halls Gap General Store - Before heading ‘up the mountain,’ relax in the picturesque town of Halls Gap, right in the heart of the Grampians National Park, with time to grab lunch (at your own expense).
