- Brambuk The National Park & Cultural Centre - Upon reaching the stunning National Park, the tour visits the Brambuk Aboriginal Cultural Centre. Here, guests can explore and witness the creation stories that form the lore of this diverse landscape. As they wander around the cultural centre, they might spot wallabies, emus, and possibly echidnas in the bush. This visit offers a deeper appreciation of Gariwerd’s significance to the Indigenous people.
- Grampians National Park - The tour takes guests from Melbourne to experience the highlights of this awe-inspiring National Park in just one day.
Guests will feel transported back in time as they admire the ancient landscape with its rugged mountain ranges and stunning sandstone ridges. With a knowledgeable guide leading the way, guests will leave the tour with a newfound understanding of the region’s countryside and history.
- MacKenzie Falls - Known as Victoria’s most famous waterfall, guests will hike down to the base and back to admire the impressive water flow and enjoy the refreshing spray. The hike involves about 250 steps to the base and back, but an easier flat walk over the top of the falls is also available.
If MacKenzie Falls is closed to the public, the tour will instead offer a serene hike to Silverband Falls.
- The Balconies - The tour continues with a hike along a shaded path through gumtrees and intriguing rock formations to The Balconies, where guests can see the renowned ‘Jaws of Death’ and enjoy majestic views and scenery, as featured in the Japanese animation ‘Princess Mononoke’.
- Reed Lookout - Reed Lookout provides sweeping views down to Lake Wartook and across the Victoria Valley and Mount Difficult Range.
- Boroka Lookout - A photo stop at the stunning Boroka Lookout perfectly captures the incredible scenery. Depending on weather and visibility, the tour may alternatively visit Lake Bellfield to walk along the dam and feel dwarfed between the two mountain ranges.
- Halls Gap General Store - Before ascending the mountain, the tour takes a break in the charming town of Halls Gap, located in the heart of the Grampians National Park, allowing time for guests to purchase lunch (at their own expense).
- Melbourne - After leaving the Grampians National Park, the tour returns to Melbourne, arriving in the evening around 8:00 pm.

Explore the region known as Gariwerd by the indigenous community with a majestic array of mountain ranges situated to the west of Melbourne. It plays host to a plethora of kangaroos, wallabies, and other local species and is known for its eye-catching waterfalls and sweeping mountain vistas. Our guide to Grampians provides brief hikes to some of our top spots and features a stop at Brambuk, the award-winning National Park & Cultural Centre which provides a glimpse into the history of the humans, the geographic features and the wildlife inhabiting this area.
