Immense fun - a must for families. - This was amazing and immense fun. An absolute must for any family. You go around the lower floor where there are various interactive displays explaining all about Plato and why Santorini is thought to have been Atlantis. You then do into the theatre, strap into roller coaster type seats, put on your head sets and 3D goggles and go on an adventure through the erupting volcano. Upstairs there is then an overview of it all, a free photo op holding Poseidon's trident and then take the test on your way out. The team of young ladies (we only saw young ladies when we were there) were excellent. Helpful, friendly and enthusiastic. They helped you around the interactive displays and the roller coaster ride. Go learn something and have some fun at the same time!

Nice little trip for the family. - We went here really for our children. Santorini doesn't have much that is child friendly, but our children really enjoyed it. The cinema experience was great fun, and it was really informative about what it would have been like during the catastrophic eruption. Every part of the museum is interactive, so lots for us all to do. We had done everything in about an hour, so don't plan on spending the day there. Gift shop wasn't overpriced either. Just a word of warning if going on the bus. The bus stops at a restaurant down the road, and you have to walk back up the hill on a really busy road with no footpath. Then back down again to the bus stop when you're finished. If you're driving or going by taxi then no issues, as there is a car park.

Lost in Santorini - Our driver was a special guy who made our experience so much more than what we thought this would be. Thank you from the bottom of our Santorini Heart.

MUSEUM WITH ERUPTION IN 3 D TO TRY - Museum on the theory that Santorini was Atlantis disappeared city described however by the philosopher Plato .small museum few things to see but friendly and helpful staff who accompany you to the visit, ticket costs 12 euros . Nice and unique experience for children is the room where they make you sit on black leather armchairs with seat belt, they give you 3D glasses and headphones to hear in the language you want (there is the Italian!) to make you see and hear the terrible eruption that there was in Santorini in about 1400 BC that even rocked the skies of Europe with an eruption equal to 40 atomic bombs , you get on your head ashes ,wind blows and the armchair moves up and down ,then you move on to the consequence of the volcano eruption in the sea with waves up to 60 meters high that reached Crete another island far from Santorini that killed about 30,000 people and feel the spray on your head and face .To try !

Good air conditioned break for kids - The museum is okay. Geared towards kids and can be done in 40 mins. The 9D movie was fun. Air conditioned. Clean. Has restrooms and a very attentive staff.

Could be so much more - Lots of interactive possibilities which catch the Heart of Teenagers and Friends ups. Would have loved to see some artifacts from the excavation site and other things. So it’s too much Computer with Tons to read

Awesome - I think it was a super cool experience. The movie theater experience was the best, the fact that we could do so much different made us never bored.

Loved the lost Atlantis history - not sure I would call it 9D - Quite an impressive and innovative concept! Loved the use of technology. Only underwhelming part was the so called 9D experience. Even if it was called something else we would have still enjoyed it finch

French version inaudible!! - The 3D experience is overall successful and immersive. On the other hand, the French version poses a real problem: the soundtrack is far too loud, which makes the comments almost inaudible. I reported this concern to a hostess, who confirmed that other visitors had already complained about it. Fortunately, we were able to experience the English version again — much more pleasant and balanced!
