Setting Sail on the Sandra

The gentle hum of the boat’s engine was a soothing backdrop as we embarked on our journey from Medulin harbor. The opportunity to swim in the crystal-clear waters was too tempting to resist. As I donned my snorkel gear, I was reminded of the countless dives I’ve taken in my career, each one offering a new perspective on the underwater world.

The crew guided us to the Golumbera cave, where the play of light and shadow created an otherworldly atmosphere. Swimming into the cave was exhilarating, the cool water a refreshing contrast to the warm sun above. A Perfect End on Ceja Island

The final leg of our journey took us to Ceja Island, a private oasis where time seemed to stand still. Here, we had the luxury of a leisurely two-hour stop, perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and snorkeling. The island’s restaurant-bar provided a delightful spot to enjoy a refreshing drink while soaking in the serene surroundings.

The highlight for many, especially the children, was the unexpected encounter with free-range rabbits. Watching them hop around the island was a whimsical touch to an already magical day. As the sun began to dip towards the horizon, we reluctantly made our way back to the boat, our hearts full and spirits lifted.

Reflecting on the day, I couldn’t help but appreciate the seamless blend of adventure and relaxation that the Medulin Boat Trip offered.
