Top Notch! - This gastronomic tour is an a gem and well worth your time. Run as a charming family business founded by a brother-and-sister duo, it introduced me to several days’ worth of authentic Colombian cuisine in two—spanning breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I delved into the rich history of these dishes and their preparation variations across South America, all while savoring their vibrant flavors. The guide’s English was impeccable; she fielded insightful questions on agricultural exports, the culinary preferences of Colombia’s racial groups, and even the nation’s linguistic proclivities with ease. She carries an information booklet with her, that I believe would enable those who are using and speak English as a second language to understand the tour easily. The walking is about a mile/1.6k and easy, a few big steps. A true feast for the gastronomically curious or for someone who simply enjoys good food.

Tour full of tasty food and great historical context - This was a fun way to spend the afternoon. You get to try a bunch of different food, drink and dessert items and learn history behind the food from a local guide. María was my guide and she had so much great information to share at each stop and the walking between. I definitely got lunch and dinner covered with this tour. I highly recommend it.

Quintessential Colombian Food - Maria is an excellent guide and this tour offers a great mix of exotic dishes mixed with essentials like empanadas and Colombian coffee. I love knowing some hidden gems after a food tour and now I know several in El Poblado.

Great experience food tour! The best! - This tour was one of the best tours I ever did. I very highly recommend this. Maria speaks very good English and Spanish and was very knowledgeable in the food and history. This is a must do! Expect about 3-3.5 hours total! Come hungry and with an open mind. Very unique experience! You will try about 9-10 items. This was also very well organized and tried and learned a lot. My taste buds was well satisfied and so glad I did this tour!

Fun and informative :) - Excellent tour and excellent tour guide! María took us around the Poblado neighborhood and talked with us about traditional Colombian foods while we sampled. I enjoyed learning about the history of how the foods evolved over time. Fun and educational, everyone in my group loved it. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Food Tour. - Excellent tour. Maria, our guide, was so knowledgeable and friendly. She was happy to answer all of our questions and allowed us to stay longer at the coffee stop as that was a big interest for us. The food was excellent. I would highly recommend this tour.

Must do food tour- 5 stars! - We landed in Medellin and this was the first thing we did. Couldn’t ask for a better welcoming experience to the great city of Medellin. Camila was so friendly, knowledgeable and caring. The amount of places and the variety was perfect. It is a small group setting which is even a nicer experience.

Land and do this tour! - We landed in Medellin and took this tour with Camilla because Chat GPT recommended it. It also was specific to take it with Camilla. It was very correct! Such a great experience. The group size was perfect. The spots picked were perfect to give us a flare of the areas and the food scene. There were MORE stops than we were anticipating. Come hungry. We did the afternoon tour and skipped dinner because of how full we were. Would definitely recommend this tour to others. It was 100% worth it.

So so - Our guide arrived 15 minutes late. So we started off awkwardly. There was plenty of time during the 2.5 hour tour for our guide to make a comeback, but it never materialized.
The guide was having a bad day, so I'm giving her some leeway. (In truth it was more like a 1-star tour than 3-stars.)
Almost all of the food stops were great. None of us in our family of 5 liked this arepas that were served. Everything else was pretty excellent.
All-in-all, we had a great time, but it was in spite of our guide's temperament.
Our go-to when visiting other countries is a Viator food tour. The one in Bogota was our favorite. This one comes in last place.
