The peñol borders different municipalities such as Concepción Alejandría, San Vicente, El Santuario, Marinilla, Granada and Guatapé. - Parque Tematico Replica del Viejo Penol - We will arrive at the Réplica del viejo Peñol Theme Park, the story of its flooding and relocation will be told to make way for the reservoir built by Empresas Públicas de Medellín “EPM”, we will observe its architecture and we will be able to visit the gift shops that are located in the park.
- Piedra Del Penol - Arrival at the stone, we will provide our group with all the traditional Antioqueña clothing “Ruana, Carriel and Sombrero Aguadeño in addition to providing them with a traditional drink of the region”. The corresponding photos will be taken with the clothing making this tour a unique experience and creating some good memories for our participants.
- Malecon de Guatape - We will visit the renovated boardwalk of Guatape
- Guatape - We will arrive at the town of Guatapé where we will find the main square of Guatapé along with other places such as the street of memories, square of zócalos and its renovated boardwalk, where you can enjoy traditional food and drinks from Antioquia.

Magic handsome - The town of Guatape is spectacular, its streets and colonial style mosaics give it an impressive charm and color.

Best private tour - I chose private tour as I normally don’t want to be distracted by big groups when traveling. Jose from Medellin Travellers picked me up from my hotel and I had a great time listening to the story and histories of El peñól, Guatape. When we reached there, Jose took his time to show me all the important landmarks and gave enough time for pictures. Guatape town experience was truly amazing. We also stopped by at few souvenir shops and a small restaurant to have some traditional Medellin snacks.

Magic Adventure ✨✨💯 - Waou!! For me it was a unique, magical experience, was being in the perfect place with people who made my adventure a wonderful few days. The spectacular tour, the attention Medellín Travel gave us with its guide José Antonio, its stories and anecdotes I loved. The landscapes, the colorful streets, its people. One on the best tour in El Penol and Guatape in Colômbia. Beautiful place - Guatape it’s a beautiful place! My husband,67 years old and I 65,we go up the 750 steps!..Was not easy,but we did it!!!😅We thank you a M.Global Service for our splendid tour and our tour guide José. I recommend 100%

The Best Private Tour! - I’m not a huge fan of big tour groups so liked the look of this private tour. It had all the right stops for a day out of Medellin and my guide Jose was extraordinary. It honestly felt like a friend showing me around for the day, great conversation and knowledgeable.

Excellent service - I traveled with my friends to Colombia and certainly the attention of this tour was the best, we always had time to carry out all our activities without hurry, very good food recommendations, as well as historical data of the places visited. We would definitely hire again.

Simply Cannot Ask for More - It was fate that brought me together with The Medellin Traveler, but it was the highest level of service, attention to detail, and just plain fun that I will always remember. I booked a tour to Guatape that also included paragliding. Jose, our driver and guide, sets the bar for professionalism & safety, and you simply cannot ask for more. From easy communication to on-time pick-ups, his ability to accommodate each guest as-needed, to his extremely high emotional intelligence or generally great personality, I cannot imagine my time spent in Medellin and Guatape being any better, and it is in no small part thanks to The Medellin Traveler. Their in-depth knowledge of the areas was told through stories (and patiently answering my endless questions), instead of like most tour companies that feel like they are reading from a script and aren't invested. I didn't have to worry about a single thing except to have the best time I could and soak in all of the fantastic culture. Every small detail was looked after, and payment was (which in my experience is seldom easy) super simple. I cannot recommend more highly, and if your experience is anything like mine, it will be one you'll never forget.
